We stayed there for one night in july. We were with two kids and the room was big enough. The room was clean, quiet and very nice. The price was very attractive. recommended
Kind and helpful staff. Located on a quiet street across the street from a police precinct
It wasn't terrible it's not that great either I mean, there are TVS and beds
Front staff very helpful. Located around a lot of restaurants and shops which was perfect. About a 6 minute walk from the subway (G line). Room was well kept and bathrooms were neat. I definitely will be back.
The YMCA is not bad accommodations at all if your on a budget, what more could you ask for; walking distance to the subway that takes you right back into Manhattan, the actual YMCA is across the street from the police station (safety), and your a few blocks away from Williamsburg Brooklyn, the hippest, up-and-coming area in all of NYC. Walk down Lorimer Street to Bedford Avenue and check out Mugs Alehouse while your in the area, it's a cozy craft beer bar, that has more of a pub atmosphere and really good food. The YMCA as I mentioned is not glamorous, it has a gym, locker room kind of feel, but with beds. No Problem! Now with all that money you saved, "Eat, Drink, & Be Merry in the City"
