Great accommodation for very fair rate.

Surprisingly, rooms are real upscale. Beds are real comfortable compared to a Hilton or Marriott.

Rooms are beautiful and big. They offer suites. Interestingly designed. With a kitchen; Microwave oven counter space and more. All in the room.

Lobby not very big.

Shabbos accommodations are something unique ! Makes your stay so enjoyable If you come for a Simcha.

We booked a king suite for one night. For the amount we paid it was NOT worth it at all! The room was extremely small for a suite, the breakfast in the morning was awful, the coffee tasted like garbage AND we had to pay an additional $20 on top of our hotel fee just to park our car. And when we were waiting to check out, the woman at the front desk was too busy on her phone to even notice us standing there. We had to get her attention. Stay somewhere else. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!!!

We arrived at the hotel in the early morning after a long drive and a troubled state. Despite the late minute booking, and notwithstanding our agreement to take a room that is not fully ready, we expected a minimally courteous treatment whereby we didn't have to (1) carry our own linen to the room, (2) replace the dirty linen, and (3) clean the space ourselves. Except we did perform all of that ourselves while the receptionist simply watched. Whilst we understood that we could not expect a room on par with the hefty price that we paid, these are matters of basic courtesy and hospitality that the receptionist simply refused to provide because our booking was not refundable. In a way, we felt blackmailed, and for that we shall not refrain from spreading the word--in whatever way we can--about the negative treatment that we received at Pointe Plaza hotel

A nice clean hotel with friendly staff and spacious rooms. We stayed in a room for 5 which has two double beds and a sofa bed. Parking is about a block away and is not connected to the hotel. Breakfast has good selection of bread, pastry, and hard-boiled eggs.

This location is great. The hotel is right in the heart of the orthodox Jewish community. I felt safe, didn't feel that I would run into any problems and felt comfortable to come and go as I pleased. The room was a nice size. My mom and I stayed in the room together. There was a pull out in the living room/ kitchen area. We were just doors from the breakfast room which was convenient. Room was clean kept up everyday and cleaned from top to bottom. No complaints the staff were always friendly and made us feel at home. Will be staying here again next time I visit

I tried to post my comments on TripAdvisor but they censored my comments, TWICE, and said it was my own fault. They are not worth my trust. I visited in July and give two stars only because the front desk staff were super friendly and helpful, and it was a decent room with everything I needed as a guest, except the bed I slept on did not smell fresh, the comforter has holes and the sheet has stains (not yet worth me taking the time to leave a bad comment) , and worst of all, had bedbugs. I am sure the hotel did not want bed-bug infection, but I was a victim too! When I called them to let them know that they have bedbugs, I thought I was being responsible and helpful, however, the guy who picked up the call questioned me :" we never had bed-bug until you came." I do not work for a pest-control company and do not plant bedbugs when I am traveling, OK? I was bitten, having the risk of bringing bedbugs home and was a victim in the case too, OK?

This hotel was a very pleasant find in Brooklyn. I received a friendly warm welcome. My room (312) was a suite with two beds. Totally surprised and delighted by the size of the room. Very comfortable bed and air-conditioning worked great because it was 34C outside on the days I was there. There is a great bagel and coffee shop across the street too. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel. Thanks Saul and the team at pointe Plaza Hotel. Cheers. Trev

The room was a little small and seemed poorly planned and laid out. The bahtroom was small but the tub was huge and perfect. Also, the window would not close properly so even more of the typical Brooklyn noise pollution came into the room, which is a bad thing next to a very busy road. Also, the blinds would not close properly. The walls were rather thin and it was easy to hear your neighbors and everything they do.

Vending machines in the lobby provided a number of items in case you forgot yours, which was nice. Asking for change at the front desk was a struggle sometimes though, as there was little cash kept there, but the staff always did their best to work it out.

Every staff member I met at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly.

Breakfast hours are very strict so don't expect to get in early.

I gave this hotel such a high rating mostly because of the staff and the relatively safe location of the hotel itself.

high ceils, medium size rooms, helpful reception desk, small kitchen in room (not at all), coffee-machine/water cooler at hall, near to Manhattan & Downtown Brooklyn. Cons: bad soundproofing.
