The staff was very friendly and efficient. The sewage dumps on site were either too close or too far away. (there were 2 on each site) location is great - easy access to Niagara Falls.
Good location for visits to Niagara Falls and the Buffalo area. Campgrounds are clean and well maintained. Although the Camp grounds was not full we had no issue with electric or water pressure. Would stay here again if in the area
Stayed here Sept 1-3,2017. Campground sites were close together. Nightly fee was in my opinion too much but it was Holiday weekend .Reason we chose this campground was it was close to Niagara Falls. Also took a tour of Falls offered by BEDORE TOURS. This tour company is TERRIBLE. Guide lost 4 of the people and had to sit in Van over 2 hrs while he located them. Use another tour company..
This is a really great KOA! The staff is very nice and accommodating. The sites are clean! The bathrooms are clean. That's the most important part! :-) the pools look good and the playgrounds look good. Even the doggie park looks well maintained. The camp store is well stocked. When we arrived, we had one of those random camping mishaps when our mallet broke at about 8:45 p.m. when we were trying to throw up our tent at the last minute! Of course they had one at a reasonable price at the camp store which was open till 9 p.m. Saved our evening! :-) and it is located in close proximity to grocery stores, coffee shops, pizza place and far enough away from the chaos of Niagara Falls to be super pleasant!
Staff was very friendly, polite & knowledgeable.
Properties were clean & well maintained including the bathrooms. Every day you saw the staff maintaing something and keeping things in order.
Bike & paddle boat rentals, heated swimming pool, game room laundry room general store with Niagara Falls souvenirs.
A relaxing & clean facility right next door to Fantasy Island Amusement park.
The staff goes above and beyond to make sure that your stay is enjoyable. It was our first time out with a new camper, and multiple staff assisted with set-up and trouble shooting. The manager's family was extremely helpful and amicable. There were two pools, two playgrounds, an arcade, great laundry, and many attractions nearby. We will definitely be staying here again!!
I have been here 3 times. Great place to hang out, cheap and very clean. Love KOA
We had a great experience at Grand Island/Niagara KOA!! The staff was very friendly and available any time we needed them. Campgrounds were clean and has lots of fun stuff for the kids. Great for families, safe place for kids to explore. Very close to lots of local attractions! We will be back again next year.
This KOA site is pleasant and clean. A bit on the small side however. I came with a friend to visit with another friend and his family. They wanted us out of there by 9 p.m. A little bit early don't you think for a Saturday evening? Right at 9 p.m. on the nose they got their staff driving up and down like little Nazis just staring at everyone's car to make sure that everyone was out exactly at 9 o'clock p.m. They could have told us that right when we checked in. I like to go to the campsite to relax not to be controlled buy a bunch of freaks that got nothing better to do.
This place is great for families looking for a "glamping" experience. My parents stayed in a cabin with AC and it was really cute! Very clean, updated and everything you could ever need. The area out front had a patio and propane grill with heavy duty patio outdoor table and chairs.
My tent site was small and on top of my neighbors. The theme park next door was on the other side of the fence, so the roller coasters were pretty loud with people screaming. The campground also backs up to a busy highway, so traffic kept me up at night.
There were plenty of sites and cabins to accommodate a large number of visitors, but privacy and an outdoorsy feel were sacrificed.
The bathrooms were clean with flushing toilets and free hot showers. Tons of stuff to do and multiple pools available. The shop up front has everything you could need!
Clean and well-run campground next to the Fantasy Island amusement park (you will hear roller coasters so if you want the feeling of being in the woods, go elsewhere). Some of the nicest bathrooms I've seen at any of the couple dozen campgrounds I've stayed at. This is a first-class facility---just know that you are in a somewhat urban area.
