Great location and the courtyard is amazing. The room we stayed in has many issues maintenance and cosmetic wise. Peeling paint, faulty switches and lights, exposed plumbing, and faulty door hardware causeing some doors to not close. There was also a giant pile of soiled linens in the front room when we arrived Wow
If it wasn't for the great location and courtyard, I would never ever consider staying here again.
It is in a beautiful location and the room was very nice but the bed was absolutely horrible!
Super nice people, fits perfectly in historic Charleston. Inn is clean and rustic. If you enjoy history, you will love this place.
Wonderful staff. Perfect location. Beautiful rooms. Comfortable beds.
We only stayed one night so I can't vouch for all services. But the room was very lovely and quaint. Love the old charm. Loved the location. The lady who checked us in was very friendly. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful.
Studio room was nice and large. Location is great if you're a foodie. The French quarter has the best restaurants.
Overall this a great place to stay in downtown historic Charleston. The rooms are not as upgraded as other Bluegreen resorts but the location is absolutely perfect. Your walking distance from Rainbow Row, the Market and Waterfront Park. Some of the best restaurants in the area are a stones throw away. The concierge was very helpful and knowledgeable.
This place is our favorite. When you get here expect some history in the building. 200 yr old architecture turned resort. You cannot find a better location. Located right in the heart of Downtown Charleston, you are 1 block from the entrance of the open air market. The staffare always courteous and freindly.
I was at the Inn for a presentation. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The buildings were historic and well preserved. There is no on-site parking. A nearby parking garage is the next best option, although there is valet parking for owners. Overall, the rooms were beautiful and well furnished.
Very nice rooms with southern charm. The staff were very nice and helpful! Great place to stay!
Absolutely LOVE this resort!! The staff is friendly, love not having to look for parking. Fireplaces and balconies over looking the courtyard in the perfect downtown Charleston location right in the center of everything, plus they do nightly rentals! Now if they only had a pool or hot tub it couldn't get any better.
A beautiful Bluegreen Resort with perfect location however their studio rooms are noisy as they are located next to Cumberland St and morning deliveries and street sweeping fills the room with noise. Beds need updating as they squeak quite a bit. It's nice to have 2 double beds in the room but not what I'm used to sleeping on. The rooms are about the size of a hotel room but include a fireplace which is operational October to April. Floors are wood and creaky but that adds to the charm however they are not level. Walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors especially when they shower, the water sound fills the room. Staff have been fine so far no complaints. TV is not good. Channels drop out but you're in Charleston so why watch TV? Though all the negatives mentioned I still have to give it good ratings because of the perfect location.
