Good place, great location. Free breakfast and parking! Window in the room is screwed shut so the place could really use a little bit of fresh air.
Rooms were very clean and modern. Shuttle to and from Universal was very convenient. Staff extremely friendly and courteous. Very reasonable pricing with complimentary breakfast definitely a plus! Will definitely be staying there again soon.
Renovated rooms. You can tell the hotel is older but nicely kept. Room was nice and staff is very friendly. Not the most attractive area before you get to International Blvd but it's a decent place to lay your head. Felt safe and would stay here again if needed.
The room was extremely comfortable and staff were very accommodating. No complaints at all! The complimentary breakfast was stellar with plenty of fresh options. It's on a busy road, but near a fantastic pizza place and just minutes away from the business I stayed in Orlando for. I would definitely stay here again!
All around great experience. The updated rooms are beautiful and smell amazing. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Super clean. Only down fall was the tub and sink took very long to drain.
It's a great stay everytime. It's a little hidden from all the attractions but you can get good rates here. Breakfast is good
Not as good as a resort in the universal park. Your options for view are limited at best. The staff is friendly but you will receive a lot of umms in the conversation making them seem incompetent. Though this is not the case. The price is extreme for a per night purchase. The rooms should be no more than $120 for a 2 queen bed room in peak season. Off season $75. There is a major difference in the money you spend versus what you receive. Still, a short distance to the park and food easily avalible with a bar next door to help you forget your troubles.
Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, there was nothing wrong about our stay. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely go back.
Great placethey are renovating as we stay. Going to be up to date. The staff is so helpful and friendly at the front desk. Truly enjoyed my stay!
Please, for the love of all that is holy, DO NOT take children here. This place was absolutely the most filthy Hampton Inn I have ever been in. The elevators literally had mounds of dirt and filth, nearly an inch deep, on the floor.
Also, the elevators were broke while we were there and as we would walk by them with our 6 year old daughter, the man repairing them would be cussing loudly, dropping f-bombs. And this happened more than once. We were on the top floor, I believe 5 and the window in our room would not lock. It also was right above the A/C unit so my daughter could easily access it. Oh, and there was also no screen.
I told the staff about it and they claimed the windows don't open at all. I literally had the thing WIDE OPEN to yell down to my husband who was getting things out of the car. We had it booked for 4 days because we planned to do Disney. After 1 night, I cancelled the rest of our reservation and we left town altogether and went to Daytona beach.
I've met the owner of this hotel today.
They are wonderful people. They really care about everything. 😊
Thank you for everything.
Well situated near Universal Studios, and the in hotel Universal staff helps with tickets and info.
Rooms are clean and recently renovated. Elevators are insanely slow. Limited parking if you arrive late.
Lower rating because they didn't give me the room I reserved via self check-in. What's the point if you switch rooms?
On two days, the room had not yet been cleaned when we returned at the end of the day. Not a huge deal, but a problem when you choose cleaning every other day and they don't come.
Finally, they disabled the manual fan setting, and only allow auto mode. Also not a huge deal, but I like the white noise of a constant fan over the one-off all night which wakes me.
The rooms are a bit small but the new and clean furnishings and atmosphere compensates for that. The location is awesome. Just a short drive to Universal Orlando where we go often. Service is friendly and accommodating for us guests . Breakfast is typical. But the seating area is always kept clean by the employees.
The rooms in this Hampton Inn has been nicely upgraded. Well decorated and every space has been well thought out. Features that I really liked were the sliding barn door as a replacement to the traditional bathroom door, comfortable bed, hot showers that lasted more than five minutes, and a very friendly and helpful staff. Also, there is a second vanity sink outside of the bathroom next to the closet which comes in handy if traveling with multiple family members. Things I didn't like included the loud window AC unit, variety of hot breakfast items usually found at other Hampton Inns. Also had technical issues using our key cards at the exterior doors and our room door card reader. Took three tries to get cards that worked.
Note: the shuttle to Disney from this hotel only goes to Epcot and stops at two other hotels. Check with the front desk of pickup and drop off times. Is an approximate 45 to 60 min bus ride, depending on traffic and weather.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!
1-I called to let the hotel know I would be arriving after midnight as my flight was delayed. Got to the hotel around 12:30. My room had been given away. The front desk clerk said we'll give you the handicap room as they have king size beds. When you go to take a shower the entire bathroom floor gets soaked. You use the only 2 towels they give you to mop up the floor.
2-The quality of their renovations at least in this room is horrible.
3-Front desk needs to work on their customer service skills. I know that seems to be lacking in this society but the hotel industry should make that a top priority
