Pleasant surprise. Had been to hospital in years past to visit others or use ER. Dirty, poor service, staff uncaring. You name it, this hospital was guilty of whatever is wrong in hospitals. In recent years i have heard this hospital trying to reinvent self. They are succeeding. ER is state of the art. Staff professional and they work together like a well oiled machine. Admitted for observation. Turn around continued on 3 Main. You could eat off the floors however food still poor. Also a negative is double rooms which have been replaced in most hospitals with private accommodations.

I had an emergencycan you believe you can burn your throat??? I had no idea and I made it to the lobby and was really weak, the gentleman there wouldn't let me walk to emergency, he took excellent care to get help for me. From the moment I got there til I left, I felt I was in a safe place I'm new to the area and had no one to go there with me so I felt fine. I cried like a baby when I had to have further testing but they were patient. I was cranky because I wanted to go home and they didn't get cranky back at me. That was impressive:)

I had knee replacement surgery on Nov 6th and this place was awesome. From preop to post-op they all made me feel comfortable the whole time I was there. I was dreading recovery but the nurses were right there to help when I woke up. The best experience I've ever had at any hospital before during and after surgery. Thanks again all of you.

Went in earlier today and ask for treatment for one problem and a referral for another. I received treatment for the issue requested, but my other problem wasn’t even acknowledged. Impatient, I decided I would leave and try and find one myself. I came back later again, evidently concerned, this time seeking a referral again and to be seen. They directed me to number on my discharge paperwork and told me to call them Monday.. today is Tuesday. In the future I will find another hospital that can offer better relief, I went home very disappointed and looking for other hospital options.

Currently being admitted just waiting on a room upstairs. The staff from triaged to the docs and nurse and techs all have been wonderful treating me with respect and concern. Kim who was my ER nurse was awesome always checking on me and keeping me updated as to what’s going on. Waiting till a room becomes available

Emergency Cystoscopy Found Infection That Could Have Killed Me. This Hospital Is a Great Place. Doctors, Nurses, Techs are all Awesome, Caring.
Tech Josh was completely amazing was able to get a line in quickly.
Cant say enough good things.

The accounts department is not staffed with persons who know how to zero out the balance on a bill! Because of this gross incompetence I am now looking at a derogatory mark on my credit report. I was told that If I paid the bill in full I would be given 20% off the total bill. I did just that and the person "forgot" to zero out the account. It was then sent to collections. Collection company called my house multiple times. I was rather puzzled by the calls as I had already paid. The calls stopped. Months later I found out through my credit card company that my A+ credit score is now in the toilet. The accounts department even told me not contact the dogs that it set on me because they are going to zero out the balance. Well two months from the last conversation NOTHING has been done. Trans Union tells me that the collection company refused to budge because of course more than likely it is greed in their part or the utter incompetence continues!

My wife had knee replacement surgery here and we could not be happier. Surgery prep was done in an efficient manor and the communications through surgery and recovery was excellent. Once in the room the staff was very nice and attentive to my wife's needs. Overall it was a very good experience.

People complain too much about everything but because I know what "bad" service is I'm here to tell you this hospital is one of the best. I came into the E.R and got the best care, and the staff here are beyond nice I dare anyone to go to a hospital in NYC and find nice nurses and doctors I'll wait!!! I want to thank everyone that made my stay comfortable and I did not feel like I was annoying anyone at all. I was encouraged to ask for anything, and every hour someone checked in on me whether it was a nurse, tech, or etc it was actually different and I was shocked to find a hospital with staff that care. I appreciate your staff and thanks to everyone there.

Had the pleasure of my visit to this facility yesterday. I can say right away that the convenience of the valet and are taken by the staff that I encountered has prompted me to write this review. I worked with Peggy who helped me with a HIDA scan, she and her helper where very quick to communicate with me, helped me to be as comfortable as they could and she even went out of her way to get me to the cafeteria afterwards to ensure I got something to eat. Simple gesture like this made this trip to the hospital not so bad. Thanks for all you do.

RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION! Hand scanning may INDEED be the Mark of the Beast! They DO NOT EVEN ASK if this is OK with you! They simply insist you place your hand on the device and do not ask you if you want to Opt out, which you can.
You need to get in the habit of saying NO! If you take this mark with such little pressure now, you are far more likely to take it then under severe pressure. Since we do not know exactly what this mark will be, why risk loosing your soul? We wouldn't dare write a temporary tattoo number on anyone Jewish so why is this OK? It IS NOT!
They say that Florida Hospital is run by the Seventh Day Adventist.
BEWARE! Do NOT trust any title Anymore!

I had surgery on a disk in my lower back. My surgeon was awesome and some nurses on floor 6 were very nice and sweet. Now that I've been on 5 Main for the past 2.5 daysI've got a new friend!! Jeffery the night shift nurse is hands down the absolute best nurse I have personally ever had. He was there when I needed something and not far if I didn't. Always checking to make sure I was kept comfortable. Jeffery (5 Main)you get a 200% and I will be nominating you as the best nurse in Florida Hospital Tampa!! Thank you and you will be informed by a higher up at the hospital on the phenomenal job you did. Even when you weren't my nurse, you made sure the other nurses knew how to handle me and care for me. For that.I thank you!!

Very slow. It took 2 hours to get an X-ray back and the PA wouldn't look at for himself. He insisted he had to wait for the official reading. We just wanted to know if my wife's rib was broken. I could have seen that. They never let us see the X-ray and couldn't burn us a disk. Also, they never asked her medical history or what medications she takes. Overall, We were seen quickly on arrival but still spent a total of 4 hours. The rib was broken.
