In the ER they are quick to triage and don’t leave you feeling abandoned. Nice place, but lost a start because the WiFi wouldn’t work right.
This was the best hospital I have ever went to in my whole life it felt more like a home. I gave birth to my son and had around the clock help and the most patient sweetest nurses I have ever encountered. Sarah was assisting me through my whole labor Amber was up until 3 teaching me how to breast feed Vanessa Susan and Ashley were just so pleasant to be around. I have never ever remembered a nurses name in my life they were incredible and Dr Weiss made my labor so easy and fast as well as dr.russo. They all treated me and my huge family so sweet and hospitable. They even gave me and my husband a steak dinner and the best goodies on our way out!!! We love them and they made me have the best experience ever!!!
My husband tripped and fell backwards a few days ago and was taken to FHZ against our wishes by paramedics who told me due to the injury he needed to be assessed immediately. This was our 3rd time here, we never had a good experience here, don't care for the place. We have Lived in the area for 15 years and learned after the first and second time there, this place did not offer quality care. Up until my husband had his ct he was in pain but not like he's experienced since then. He was immobilized for 2 hours up up till the ct tech an older man, flat top, lots of gawdy jewelry, who so rudely explained to My husband that if he couldn't get up and move his self to the table because he didn't have help he would just send him back to the ER where he could set and wait. You sir have caused my husband a more severe injury by making him move himself then he would have if you would have done your damn job. Despite numerous complaints to several staff we have not been given the courtesy of hearing the outcome. What you may not know is my husband works in radiology as well in a very reputable hospital, he knows if you were to take him back to the er without him refusing his scan you would be delaying patient care, which in a reputable hospital you would have been immediately fired, your actions and what you done was completely unforgivable.
Actual 1 star doesn't Cut it Rude doctor lack of secruity.i highly recommend you pass this place up run if you can and go to Bruce B Downs.
Amazing staff. Took excellent care of my grandma. Hospital is clean and staff is very friendly.
The level of card that I continue to receive from Florida Hospital of Zephyrhills is the kind of care I would expect from Walter Reed, The Mayo Clinic or Harvard Medical. The medical community is outstanding in all specialties. The staff are phenomenal. The. Nurses provide the highest quality of care and their devotion to their vocation is so apparent that you know if have to admitted to such a facility you are in the best of care. The supporting staff of clinical nursing assistance, medical technicians, nutrition, house keeping combined with sophistical information technology exude the devotion for providing the best in medical care that can be offered. The bonus for me is that I live 5 minutes from the facility
They love to run up bills. I except better service from Hospital. It may be the insurance companies, but it reflects poorly on Hospitals and staff.
Horrible hospital. Worst I've been too. Woke up and couldn't breath, I was choking and luckily controlled it to the point where I could breath again. Legs went numb and had to go to the ER, because I'm pregnant they sent me to the OB! Nothing is wrong with my baby, I wasted an hour and a half to be told to go back down and see the ER like I originally came for! I left, I can the there all night what jerks.
This hospital is filthy. They never sweep or mop. There were wads of hair, food debris, and sticky floors in the rooms we stayed in. The staff will do whatever they can to avoid changing the bedding. At one point, I had to do it myself so my loved one wouldn't have to keep laying in four days old, sweat-soaked sheets.
Almost all of the doctors and nurses I encountered possessed poor communication skills and no interest in listening to the patient. Expect a lot of time wasted if your problem is not pregnancy or stroke.
As an added bonus, there are no comfortable seats anywhere in the hospital outside of the cafeteria. The rooms are tiny, with barely enough room for the bed and one horrible chair.
I had a great experience at this hospital. My daughter had to be taken to the er and we only had to wait for about 10 minutes. The nurses were so compassionate and caring. My girl even received a teddy bear with a get well soon card. I had a nurse even kissed
my daughter's forehead which almost brought me to tears. I will be using this hospital from now on. Best staff in the area by far.
So far I've been here for 3 1/2 hours. I came straight after work to get checked out with my family waiting for me at home. My husband has been blowing my phone up because he can't get the baby to go to sleep. I have told them many times that this needs to be hurried up because I have an infant at home at needs me. I was in the waiting room for 2 hours and so far I have been in the room for 1 1/2 hours. All my labs are back. I'm just waiting for someone to tell me what is what and what I can do to fix it so I can go home and take care of my baby. 4/29/2017 @1:25am
Horrible! Absolutely horrible! Worst hospital in the area. Nothing positive to say, at all. Went to the ER after a car accident, waited an hour to see the triage nurse. Then waited 3 more hours in the lobby for no one to see me. Went back up to the desk and they thought I was already back there. Was told it would be a few minutes more, over an hour went by. I left. I'll go to a real hospital from now on. This place is a joke.
