Horribly trained staff, the so called test area sucks. The manager/owner is completely horrible at customer service, the worst person to have a conversation with. Very fake! To the extreme this is most unprofessional woman I have ever encountered and the only good men's shoe they had was only in a size 9. These people deserve to go out of business. Very snotty, worst group of morons I have ever encountered. Do not go here. I forget her name "the owner" or who claimed to be the owner i think it was Ellen but she was flat out a bad crude disrespectful person to me from the jump and I wouldn't recommend going here if it was the last store in the world. I would rather make my own shoes and by the way most of the men's shoes are in women's colors.

The staff is so very knowledgeable, always helpful and friendly. The merchandise is excellent quality. If you need to find the right footwear for running or walking, this is where you want to go. The staff is hands down the best qualified.

Late selections of apparel and accessories for running!
I've received good and bad shoe recommendations. Double-check with a podiatrist if you're getting shoes to address foot pain.

The staff here can't be beat. You get a completely personalized shoe recommendation here. I learned a lot of good info from the woman who helped me. Probably my only complaint is that this is not the place to come on a budget. You're getting a high end shoe with no advertised sales and no marked pricing, so you have to ask about each shoe brought out of you want to know before you ring it up.

Fleet Feet became my friend when I ran my first full marathon about 6 years ago. You can tell that the employees that work there are very well trained, and are passionate about their job. I've never ONCE felt pressured to buy the shoe, even though as a specialty store you know you're going to be spending some $$. I love the return policy if the sneaks don't work out (60 days) and I also love the community involvement. I personally don't take advantage of the training programs but I applaud those that do. I know a lot of Google reviews are forced or fake, but I just happen to be going there later and thought to write a good one as I've been a customer since the old location on Monroe. Keep up the good work FF Team!!

Staff here is super helpful and knowledgeable. I have gone to fleet feet for anything from shoes to clothing to just get a workout in with a group, staff is welcoming and encouraging of everyone and their goals.

As an avid runner that loves to draw others into the sport, Fleet Feet offers an excellent service to our community as a running and walking resource. They will measure your feet and offer lots of advice on what to wear.
All that said, they're prices are very inflated and the one time I got my feet measured there the girl measured my feet wrong and recommended the wrong shoes - not only did I pay about $50 more than other places, I got HORRIBLE blisters that killed my feet for over a week after running a marathon.
Fleet feet is a good starting point, but not an end point. I know lots of people who swear by their ability to recommend shoes. Go get measured and ask lots of questions then come to your own conclusionsresponse / report this review -

I participated in the 2016 Fleet Feet Flower City Half Marathon and had a great experience. The race was very well organized. I was able to pick up my packet at Fleet Feet the day before. The race was a great course through Rochester and I loved the number of people cheering on the runners throughout the whole course!!! Everyone working the race was extremely pleasant and helpful. I would definitely do this race again!

This store is outstanding. I stopped in for the first time the other day looking for a pair of workout shoes and insoles. They used a video analysis of my walk to assure the best choice shoe. The shoes are super comfortable. They even help with some knee discomfort I've been having for a while - it's gone! If you want a proper fit, by caring and helpful staff, go here! You won't regret it!
