Closed and rundown. We had reservations but stayed somewhere else maybe they'll remodel.
I stopped by recently because I heard a story about the hotel being closed. Sadly, this was true. The rumer I heard was there were squatters living there along with drug use and possibly drug making. A year ago I took some deliveries over there and most of it wasn't being used as it was being renovated at the time. The part that was open was dirty and and not cleaned on a regular basis.
They are remodeling the whole entire hotel and when they get through with it I am pretty sure it will be back to where it once was and that was one of the best hotel's in Louisville
When I came to this hotel, there was a conference in town that had been planned for months ahead of time. Now I wasn't expecting some fancy hotel or anything, but they knew there was going to be around 300 people that weekend, yet the bathrooms remained gross, as they hadn't been cleaned. All of the public restrooms ran out of toilet paper the first night being there. We also called the front desk to send us new sheets and they never did.
Place needs some TLC and would be a great place again!! Staff is working hard to recover from flood and previous neglect of the property!! Be patient and they will be happy to address any guest concern. Lively place on weekends. Great place for family and group gatherings and events.
Worst hotel experience ever. Took two hours to get into my room because there was no staff. First room wasn't even clean or the right type. No manager on duty until the morning we were leaving. Told them about the situation didn't even get an I'm sorry. Smells, dirty, horrible breakfast. Says it's being renovated. Not true. The pictures are totally deceiving.
