For a two star hotel, this was a great experience. The rooms are somewhat dated, and the pool was a little bit of a hike, but the room was surprisingly comfortable. There are signs of renovation on the first flor, so maybe an update is coming? The staff was also really friendly, which we also really appreciated.

So outside and entry very nice. Lady behind desk was nice. Hotel was old but being renovated. Beds very hard. Only gave us 3 towels sets when there were 4 of us so had to ask for more. One night didn't have any clean. Are you kidding me.Every morning we left early when we returned our key never worked so back to front desk for a new one. On second night my daughter was swimming and life guard was useless not paying any attention on cell phone and playing grab ass with two boys that came in from outside. My oldest was going to make some coffee and when she pulled coffee pot away from wall there was a hypodermic needle taped to the wall wrapped in saran wrap.I was beyond pissed at this time since I also have a 6 yr old. So down to the desk I go and all I got was a sorry.Breakfast was nothing to write home about not waffles or pancakes. Bread was stale/hard.very disappointed will never go back.

We stay here every year during the NAILE. It's an older but well built hotel. Nice breakfast area. Nice area in general. I'd recommend it to my friends.

Rooms are nice for 10 years ago. Facilities are in need of a serious upgrade in infrastructure. Electrical system cannot handle more than 1 plug In item. Modern electrical needs. Phone charger, laptop, anything else. If you need more than 1 outlet, you'd best bring an extension cord.

I had plans with friends for a girls' day out and this was stop 4 of the day. We had started our day with lunch followed by shopping and a stop to get out hair done. After that we decided to go get drinks since we rarely get a chance for an entire day to just hang out and do "girl stuff". I had heard good things and the bar at the Breckinridge Inn and it was nearby (which meant minimal fighting rush hour traffic) so we decided to stop by. I drive past on a daily basis but have never been in so I wasn't sure what to expect but we enjoyed ourselves. The bartender was friendly an the drinks were well balanced with the right proportions of each ingredient in the cocktail. The only issue we had was figuring out which entrance to go in to find the bar but that was easily remedied and we enjoyed ourselves once inside.

The location was ideal for the Louisville state fair. My room was in an area of the hotel which was being renovated, so it looked a bit rundown. My room itself was rather nice however, and the bathroom was clean and fit for purpose. One minor issue I had was with the lack of electrical sockets by the bed, so I had to unplug the alarm clock to charge my phone. The pool was a nice temperature and seemed clean. All in all the hotel was rather good, considering the low price.

This is a very reasonably priced hotel. decor is outdated rooms are a bit musty walls are paper thinyou can hear every child screaming every door closing and house keeping member yelling in the hallway. And on this stay there seemed to be repairs taking place In hotel room above me quite annoying!
Being in the customer service industry myself allowances are made and you would not have receive at 3 star review but on my last evening here I decided to check the restaurant out. As I entered the door I was instructed that I was not allowed to bring my beverage.. no problem I got rid of it I walk back into the restaurant I was told it was closed. The posted hours are 1 a.m. it was midnight .the reason for closing early was no one was there clearly I was visiting during posted timesso what you're telling me is I'm no one? NOT COOL! Maybe if you told me originally as you said no drinks were allowed that you were actually closed I wouldn't have been so angry

Multi purpose, family and pet friendly facility. Full of southern charm and ambience the inn wraps around the luxurious courtyard and outdoor pool. Adjacent to the outdoor pool is a year round indoor pool with male and female locker rooms and a fitness center. There is at least one sauna in the men's locker room. Meeting and conference rooms are available in this independently owned establishment. There is a lounge area with live entertain most nights of the week. The rooms and amenities are admittedly not luxurious, but spacious and adequate. There is a continental breakfast provided, and although I haven't used it personally there is shuttle service available. We have stayed here previously and will definitely be staying here in the future. Unless you're looking for ultimate opulence, I would recommend checking out this affordable alternative.

Decent, clean, friendly, safe hotel for this area. They need to get into modern times for travelers though. Rooms need microwave and mini fridge. These are standard at even budget hotels everywhere. You have to go all the way to lobby to use a microwave. Rooms are nice and beds pretty comfortable. Property is clean and maintained. There is a bar on site. Indoor and outdoor pools. I would prefer to stay somewhere that has the room amenities I'm used to, but it will do in a pinch.

We made last minute reservations and they couldn't have been more accommodating if they tried. The friendly staff even upgraded us to a suite. It was our first time in Kentucky and our experience was so great that it won't be the last!

My first night at the hotel was horrible, paid $80 for 1 night. The shower didn't work in my room, bad service, dirty sheets with lipstick stains, and a cockroache crawling on the wall. This hotel is the worst, don't waste your money.

Tried to change our reservation from two nights to one side to getting in much later than anticipated and was charged for an entire day and night we were not even there. I was told because it was a busy weekend in town they were charging me to "hold" the room for us. I'm not ok paying for something I did not utilize!!! Furthermore, the hotel was smokey smelling I was forced to sign something saying if I smoked in the room it would just be an additional $100 charge. It's akin to Highway motel with crappy service. On top of that, their "hot" breakfast was nothing more than McDonald's style egg patties, cold biscuits, and a crock pot of sausage gravy. Terrible!!!

Had a wonderful stay (definitely will visit the hotel again). Is an older hotel that has been updated. Does not have the old mildew smell of many older hotels. The staff was great, very friendly. Breakfast included continental breakfast with hot biscuit and gravy. Great shower, the water can burn the dirt off :) . The only negative I could find is, the bed and pillows were too soft for me. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Awful experience. Elevators smell terrible and only stairs we could find were emergency only. Severely overpriced for the quality. Very outdated which I wouldn't care about if it was only the looks. Bad lighting. No refrigerator in the room. Springy mattress and pillows that go flat. Unfriendly staff. But what topped it all off was the horrible loud music that lasts until 3am. Would not give us another room that we could actually get sleep in and laughed when we asked when the night club in the basement closed that kept us up in our second floor room.
