Due to business trips, I was staying at this hotel about 1-2 times per month for the past year. It's a decent hotel - no frills, clean rooms, generally quiet guests, and a fair price. Within a reasonable walking distance of major downtown attractions.

My last few stays here have been worrying, however.

    - On one trip, I was charged for two rooms due to a botched reservation in their system. I escalated to the GM over the course of 3 days to get it resolved.

    - No running hot water in the shower during one stay. Due to hotel capacity, I was not able to get another room.

    - Twice I have been given room keys to already-occupied rooms. This is probably the worst security snafu a hotel can make. This was the breaking point that has moved me to other hotels for future business trips.

These bad experiences coincide with a new hotel GM, so I'm not sure if its the new management or just bad luck.

Assuming you don't have any serious room security issues, this is a great hotel for the price and comes recommended for a quick trip in-and-out of Louisville.

Rented the room through Expedia which caused some complications in trying to check in early but the staff was above and beyond friendly and helpful throughout and did wind up getting me in early. The room was clean and the bed super comfortable. Continental breakfast was well stocked.

Walking distance to multiple good restaurants and fun places. Parking was $15/night. The rooms were clean and comfy, but half the outlets didn't work in one of our rooms. With 4 girls, it made it challenging. If I'm in the area again, I would gladly stay with them again.

The staff here are kind and helpful. The hotel room was clean and pleasant. Breakfast is pretty good, but the coffee isn't great. No restaurant/bar on site, even though it's a pretty big hotel in a big city. Still a good place to stay, within walking distance of lots of places to eat.

We were charged $17 for parking, but there were no parking spots available whatsoever. They didn't refund us, but had us make our own spot in a high traffic area. I imagine this isn't usually an issue, seeing as how the eclipse brought in so many people. The room itself was really nice. Comfortable bed, hot shower. Overall pleased with my experience.

Our stay was totally satisfying ! The rooms were very comfortable. Continental breakfast great and also the staff . Our arrival was smooth as well as our departure. Joseph from the front desk was extremely friendly yet professional. They went the extra mile.
    I would definitely return !

I came here for surgery. I had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean and I would know because I am a former housekeeper. The entire staff was very friendly. They go above and beyond making you feel at home.

Good rooms. Very nice staff. Breakfast bar was ok, nothing special. Would nice if the toaster and wake machine were new and quicker. As for the room, or AC unit was loud and kept kicking off before the room got cooled off.

Great walking distance to KFC Yum center.

Friendly and courteous staff. The continental breakfast was pretty good. Pool on the smaller side. Only 2 blocks from 4th Street. No complaints really. Just a typical hotel experience.

Room and bathroom were clean. Bed very comfortably. We stayed there because my wife was running the Derby Festival Marathon. Location of the hotel was just a few blocks from the start/finish line. The staff here are exceptional. They all went beyond our expectations. The race started an hour and 45 minutes late due to lightning. The staff knew that the marathon started late and assured me that my wife would have the time she needs to shower after she finished the marathon. This was not only offered to us, but other guests who also ran the marathon. My was so grateful that the staff gave her that extra time to get a shower in before heading back home to Ohio. I wish all hotels had a great staff like this.

Amazing customer service experience! The gentlemen and the other staff up front went out of their way to make sure that my family and I had a great experience. Maps and print offs of all of the restaurants and events that were close by. Letting us check in early because there was availability and my 2 young children were so excited to start swimming. Hands down the best customer experience I've had from a hotel in quite some time. Clean rooms/hotels with a good location within the city.
