We had a room on the top floor with a city view. The room was beautiful as was the view outside! Service was great, valet parking was very nice. Perfectly located in downtown Louisville with a lot of great bars and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay again in the future.
Rooms are nice and clean. There is a bar with a great Bourbon infused beer. The hotel is well located. Just wish there was continental breakfast.
Stayed here for 2 nights for my daughter’s cheer competition as this was one of the competition preferred hotels. This was terrible- particularly room service and housekeeping. We tried to order room service on the first night which was a Friday. We understood it may be busy but there was never anyone in the lobby and no traffic in the halls, and it was far after dinner time. Room service never answered after 7 attempts. We finally reached someone at the front desk (Mariah). She was friendly and tried to help us order. After numerous back and forth connecting and follow up calls, our meal showed up. No ice water, no utensils! I had to chase the server down and ask her to bring both up. I should mention, we could not even drink from the bathroom sink if we wanted to because housekeeping never left any glasses where they should have been in the room (they had placeholders but no glasses).
Day 2: we made the mistake of trying to order room service for breakfast. After calling again several times, the man told me it would be an hour. After 2+ hours, I called for an ETA. He couldn’t find my order!!!! He then suggested we order again. No way! My poor daughter had to compete and we needed to leave. We had to rush out to find food for her. Well, there was a buffet in the lobby restaurant. We sat down. The selection consisted of cereal, yogurt (in a bottle), powered scrambled eggs and sausage. oh and scary looking biscuits and gravy. I ate the eggs. My daughter ordered french toast to go. The toast finally arrived when we had absolutely no time to spare.
No shampoo or conditioner in the room when we arrived. I had to stop housekeeping and ask for some.
Bottom line: only stay here if you pack your own food and toiletries. I won’t be back.
The hotel had a great space or I should say spaces for a large conference with breakout sessions. The food was fantastic how it tasted great and was quite healthy. The hotel was in the middle of downtown and close to restaurants and museums in Louisville. I would definitely want to return for this type of event again.
Arrived for a weekend conference late on Friday night to find out that they had overbooked and that they had no rooms left. So they put me across the street at the Marriott for the first night for free (I didn't pay at all for that night) , then I checked into the Hyatt the next afternoon. That night, they delivered a cheese plate to our room as an apology. The room itself was nice, modern looking, and comfortable, and honestly, I liked it better than the Marriott that normally runs at twice the cost.
Guest Services is something to be desired. Hotel itself was in great shape and rooms were amazing. This hotels location is by far it's best benefit. Within walking distance of all the great attraction in downtown Louisville. Literally across the street from Fourth Street Live.
Great location. Friendly an courteous working environment. Great team work here. I just love this place 😁
Everyone was super kind. I adored the staff.. from reception to the bar.. to the restaurant.. and gift store.. everyone was so kind.
The rooms are modern, the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The workout facility was small but fine. It has a good central location.
It was our first time in Louisville, and we're definitely going to stay here again when we come back. The staff was very friendly, even upgraded our room to the top floor with a beautiful view of the city. After exploring Fourth Street Live and the Riverwalk, we came back to the hotel and ordered room service from Sway, the restaurant downstairs. Dinner was fantastic and reasonably priced. No complaints about the room either, everything was modern and very clean. Definitely an awesome place to stay and explore Louisville.
An awesome hotel to stay at. Very nice and friendly staff, an awesome service, neat and clean rooms and bathrooms, perfect city view. Strongly recommend to stay here.
It was comfortable and clean. The staff were courteous and pleasant. Location is ideal as its right on 4th street Live with a plethora of nice eateries and bars. Had it not been the very strong scent of bleach on the bed sheets I'd have given them 5 stars. We had to have them changed. By night 2 we could not sleep and had to have them removed and replaced. That aside, the place is great.
This rating isn't specifically for an experience I had at the Hyatt, but a customer service experience with Sales Manager, Jessica Cooper.
Sometimes, it's the small things that really make an impact.
I booked a block at the Hyatt Regency Louisville for my wedding in July, and had been working with Jessica coordinating it--we had only corresponded one or two times, so I'm sure my reservation was not top of mind for either of us.
I received an e-mail from her, letting me know that she would be relocating for another job opportunity, and she gave me all the resources I would need in order to stay connected and make sure that this reservation wouldn't fall through the cracks.
For someone who I'm sure has tons of clients, it was so nice to have her reach out and proactively let me know about the change instead of leaving without a word and then having me scramble to find the right person who would be in charge of handling my reservation when the time came.
Such a small thing, and I'm sure everything would have worked out fine if she had left without closing the circle with me, but it left such a great impression that she took the time to reach out.
The kids were asking to go swimming today so I decided to book us a room here at the Hyatt in Louisville on a whim. I thought I had booked a room with 2 beds, but when I arrived they only had one room with a King bed. They offered me a roll out bed so I agreed that would be okay and we went on up to our room and continued on. A few hours later, the front desk manager emailed me asking how our stay was going and I told her we were having a great time but I mentioned the mishap about the 2 king beds. She quickly responded, apologizing for the confusion and offered us an additional room with the king bed at no additional charge and also offered us a free breakfast in the morning before checkout.
I just wanted to post about my awesome experience and say, "Thank you" to Christina & her awesome team here at the Hyatt Regency Louisville. The front desk assistant who checked me in even came to my room to deliver the keys and apologized for the inconvenience where I quickly responded that it was more than alright.
I just wanted to post about our awesome experience and I will surely be back to the beautiful Hyatt hotel here in Louisville KY.
This was an excellent hotel for a conference. I was pleased by the quality of the rooms; they were recently renovated and very clean. The area nearby has lots of restaurants and bars.
On my first night (of 6), the room next to mine was populated with loud and apparently intoxicated individuals. It was Saturday night, and I didn't really want to start any trouble, so I called the front desk just to ask if there was a fan I could borrow for white noise. They offered earplugs, which I declined. I used the available aux input on the nightstand clock to play white noise and fell asleep quickly, no problem.
The next day I found two craft beers in my room, and a card which apologized for the experience the night before. How thoughtful!
