This was an amazing hotel, and restaurant experience. We had a company dinner and drinks then retired to our spacious rooms, very comfortable bed. Very luxurious and exciting place to stay.

We have an annual family dinner at the hotel restaurant and it's something we look forward to all year long. The service is excellent and I've never had a meal I didn't enjoy. I definitely recommend the chocolate decadence cake.

Such a beautiful historic hotel. Decorated so nice for Christmas. Rooms are big for an old hotel, nice amenities. Menu in piano bar good. Hot Brown is a must. Great area to explore downtown. All walking.

Great charm, successfully balancing elegance and comfort. The even piano bar is a treat unto itself. Been coming here for two years every time I travel through Louisville. I look forward to many more stays.

The corner rooms are worth the extra charge.

I went here to try the hot brown. I ordered an old fashioned to go along with it. The food and drinks were amazing. Service was impeccable. It was one of the highlights of my Louisville experience.

Beautiful historic accommodations. Always wonderful, superb customer service, LOTS of character. Great for special occasions. Beds/bedding are very comfy. Great location within walking distance of many attractions and eateries. They also have a parking garage if you are planning to be in and out.

As a conference participant, great. As far as the room goes, much less than expected. My room had the bath faucet dripping but the walk in closing was great. The pillows left something to be desired, and one of the outlets near the desk needed repair. That being said, the reservation and check in experience was excellent. Both before and after check-in. There were 2 checks to see if everything was up to snuff, one in person from the staff and one by phone some time later. And before I arrived, the reservation personnel were excellent.

I did not stay overnight, instead was eating a hot brown. The hotel bar had it and it was delicious. There was nice piano music playing in the lobby bar, but it was too loud for my taste. The service was excellent and parking was easy. If I was looking for a place to impress someone, I would definitely go back.

Beautiful historic hotel that has been renovated and is a great place to stay in Kentucky. Staff is very friendly, more of an upscale hotel. Would definitely stay at again. Would be great for weddings or events. Attention to detail is amazing at these older hotels compared to the modern look of newer hotels built today. Very comfortable.

Ate at the brunch buffet. Great selection and food was top notch. Service was impeccable. I can see why several presidents have stayed here. Highly recommended.

Had mother's day brunch on Saturday with a party of 11 and easy accommodation. Food was great (some got breakfast bar, others ordered breakfast from the menu, and others ordered the legendary hot brown). Great quality food and service overall and elegant decor. Will definitely be back to try some additional items from the menu.

This place was like staying at my Aunt place in Louisville. Now I don't have an Aunt who lives in Louisville but you get the idea. It's quaint and historic and lovely and warm and classy and just "home."

All the staff from the doorman to the reception to maids.top notch. The price is a steal for what you get.

There is a small gym with cardio, free weights and a weight machine in addition to yoga mats and a ball. Not high end but will get you through so you don't lapse in your routine while visiting.

Lots of nearby restaurants, bars, convenience stores, etc.

This hotel is Aces!

The Brown Hotel's J. Graham Cafe is one of the places in the vintage hotel where you can experience the original Kentucky Hot Brown. If you're visiting the city, it's one of our top foodie attractions, and that's saying a lot! The restaurant is top notch, with attentive service, a classic menu, and an excellent bar. Important things to know: valet parking is free for two hours if you're in the J. Graham Cafe, and the hot brown comes in half portions which taste just as good, but allow you to try an appetizer as well.
