One of the best hotels near the airport. Comfortable rooms. Pleasant, helpful staff. The restaurant food is good and priced fairly too.

Generous accommodations and the most delicious, complimentary evening reception for all guests. The wine and beer were flowing. This was other worldly.

This suite is not private at all!
The whole reason we booked this hotel is for the privacy, we were staying one night in Rolumus before our early morning flight and we rented a suite because we thought it would be easier and more affordable but still have some of the privacy a suite is supposed to offer.
This room had one restroom in the bedroom so you had to go threw the bedroom obviously to get to it. The doors were the biggest joke they didn’t close all the way and even if they had the whole door had slats like a closet door you could see both ways I checked!
A suite is supposed to be a set of rooms for one or more people or a family to be together but still have some leave of PRIVACY!
This was an awkward nightmare, we will never stay here again!response / report this review -

The made to order omlettes are great and the manager gave us another room and credit because our heater was loud. Comfortable beds. It's by the airport but we've hardly heard any planes. Very good service.

Very nice time. We celebrate our high school reunion there. The food was excellent! I wish they had carry out! Lol. The staff was very polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend the Embassy Suites! A+

Love this hotel. Beds are really nice and pillows are big and comfortable. Every time I've been there the staff has always been great and the free drinks and snacks for happy hour really can't be beat. Restaurant good is also pretty darn good, my last trip there I think I had 3 orders of their wings as they were that good.

The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. The pool was really neat. But, there were some issues, especially since the room rate to stay to play hockey was $143 a night. There were no bath towels when we got there. I called and about 15 minutes later, they brought some up, which was good. Also, the first day we were out all day and when we returned, the air freshener in the room was so over powering that I got a headache. I called and they sent someone up and removed the air fresheners from the duct. They said there were two in each duct and there should have only been one. Another family also noticed very strong air freshener. Then, there was no toilet paper. I called and they said we would have to come down and get some as they had no one to bring any up. I would expect more for the price. Kleenex worked just fine. Then, I found the attached finger nail on the floor with my bare feet and my son found a staple on the floor that looked like it was from a cardboard box.

Front Desk did welcome me as a Silver Member with Hilton and did provide a welcome gift. We stayed in room 261 and is located by the stairs in the lobby. If you use the elevators, the signage only shows the rooms go to 260 (there is a 261).
Room was clean and loved the spacious room. Bed were comfortable and we all slept well.
Didn't get to enjoy the pool. Breakfast was amazing and hard to believe it is free, which is a great thing!
If you can find a great price, it is worth the stay here!response / report this review -

Awesome experience! From an 2am arrival that was one of the easiest I have ever had, to a front desk desk check out that remembered my name after an hour despite the busy atmosphere. Room was clean, comfortable very roomy. 2 tv's, separate sitting area, closed off bedroom. Breakfast was awesome, chef making eggs and omelets, pancakes and waffles was engaging and joking with people, yet moving line along. Other selections fantastic. Hotel had manager walking around chatting with tables in the morning, other staff clearing plates and wiping tables making sure all guests were accommodated. Totally impressed with my unplanned 1 night stay!

I stayed at the Embassy Suites on April 6-8. Overall I very much enjoyed the experience. My room was amazing and all the staff were warm and welcoming. However, their airport shuttle service was very disappointing. I asked the front desk the night before if I needed to reserve a space on the shuttle for the next morning at 6am. They said no there would be plenty of room. I got to the lobby at 5:50am and waited. At 6am a driver entered the lobby and said there were only four spaces available and with that four people arrived out of nowhere and rushed for the shuttle. I had to wait for the next one, which arrived at 6:20am. Fortunately I always leave extra time to get to the airport, but was very annoyed. Under this method one could easily have to wait for several shuttles before having room to board and when dealing with flights nobody has time for this.

This hotel is actually pretty nice. The lobby and buffet area are clean and well organized. The gym is newer with precor equipment. There is free breakfast and happy hour and the staff is very friendly. I would stay here again.

I live in Ontario and fly frequently and majority of the time I fly through Detroit's airport. I always have stayed at the embassy suites and have always enjoyed my stay especially with the happy hour. I do not usually write reviews but as I'm looking for hotels in Detroit before my upcoming flight this month I thought I would share my thoughts. I left a pair of expensive green hunter boots rarely worn in my room and called immediately after leaving the hotel to have them put as side for when I returned from my destination. The woman I spoke to reassured me that all items left in the rooms are kept in housekeeping for X amount of days. When I returned my boots were nowhere to be found and I was told to contact the head of housekeeping but she was not working the day I arrived. I was given a number to the head of housekeeping and it was almost impossible to get ahold of her. When I did speak to her finally, she told me no boots were found and was extremely rude in doing so. I know without a doubt my boots were left in my room and to be specific on the chair. Staying at a higher class hotel such as the Hilton I expected more security of my items for the premium prices I'm paying to stay at your suites. This was very disappointing and I have informed my colleagues about this experience as we often book here. If I could get a response from some sort of management it would be greatly appreciated as I would like to continue our business relationship.

One of my favorite hotels to stay at. Right next to airport and they'll even pick you up at the rental car return. The free drinks and snacks each evening make it well worth the stay. This past stay was the first time I ate at the restaurant and the food was great. Staff couldn't be friendlier. Did I mention free drinks and snacks every night (at least every night I've been there).
