Guy checking people into the er was rude. Didn't take too long for triage but apparently a pregnant woman with a newly diagnosed heart murmur is not a priority since everyone in the waiting room for a room before me. Urgent care had even called ahead to let ob know I was coming and they never even saw me or gave their advice. Basically given fluids and told to see my ob.
This is actually where I'm supposed to deliver and after the experience here today, I am considering switching Drs so I can deliver somewhere else. Like if the er is any indication of the labor and delivery service here, I'm concerned.
Without a doubt, this is the Best place in the area to have a baby! From the doctors and nurses to the helpful staff, it is a excellent experience!
This place SUCKS !! Worse hospital I've ever been to been sitting in the we waiting room since 11 am it is now 3:45pm. Will never be back and would not have given it a 1 star but had to give it to leave a review FTP.
The wait time is just ridiculous! I went for seizure symptoms and all the doctor said was what do u want me to do?? WOW!!! after explaining my situation AGAIN he says I can give u something but you will have to get your primary to prescribe it WHAT!!! since when they stop writing prescription???? TELL YOUR STAFF STOP TALKING ABOUT PATIENTS WHEN OTHER PATIENTS CAN HEAR YOU!! A call came in from EMS the lady said oh here we go u ready, the other employee said he'll no! Why u apply for this if u don't wanna work??? TERRIBLE HOSPITAL!! UNC ROCKS!
A very nice Duke expansion! They took great care of my family. A tough comparison to the University Medical Center though. The facility is nice, clean, and odor-free but slightly used. Still it's a great option compared to a limited, small-town hospital, like where I live. The staff is greatnice and patient. Duke is only world-class!
My name is Dedrick Fleetwood. I work for Duke Regional Hospital and i smoke marijuana. My supervisor Heather was informed about my drug use but ignored it and i contined to work in Sterile Processing. Even though i work in healthcare i put my sexual partners at risk because i have unprotected sex and pass STDs to my partners.
It's a hospital. The administrative staff was.. alright. But that was an er visit.
The nurses and staff in the ob/gyn section were amazing during. Admitted for 48 hours once.
I had my daughter here in 2006 and they took great care of us. Since then my daughter was admitted into Duke, 3 days and I never met her doctor. They provided horrible care. We will never go back to Duke If Durham Regional is not an option take me to UNC.
The maternity ward here was fantastic delivering our baby. The atmosphere was great, didn't feel like a hospital at all and again, the staff was just amazing. they explained everything and were kind in all they did. We could not have asked for a better experience.
The staff taking care of my son has been extraordinarily kind, helpful and supportive. This was my first experience with any hospitalization at Duke Regional. I have been delighted with the staff and their attentiveness.
