I was taken there after a seizure with blood all around my mouth. Was seen fairly quickly, but nobody bothered to clean up the blood. This happened the day of the eclipse, and tell staff was more interested in that than in looking after their emergency room patients. It also seems to me like they double-charge for tests. The doctor's bill is separate from the ER bill, and then I get one from radiology charging for the X-ray and CT-scan, but these are itemized on the ER bill. Maybe someone can explain why an ER charges for a service others are billing for. Also thought I had a payment plan set up, but they never informed the outside billing company about that, and so I rate them one star (if I could use negative stars it would be minus five). My advice is if you have the right to refuse hospital care and they plan to take you to Betsy Johnson, exercise that right.

Went to Betty Johnson in need of help with severe pain. Turned out to be a kidney stone. It was early in the morning and no other patients were there so I was taken back. I was hurting so bad I was shaking and could hardly walk. After being there for an hour and having a Ct scan, they still had not addressed the severe pain. Dr. Michael Hudson finally said he would give my lidocaine. I explained that I have issues with that medicine so he decided I didn't need pain medicine for a kidney stone they had already found on the Ct scan. In fact I was left in the room for over 2 hours and the pain was getting worse. The person I was with went out to look for someone several times and didn't see anyone. Finally, someone came back and disconnected the iv and other monitors and said we were done. No one explained how to care for the kidney stone or even what to expect. They handed us 4-5 pages of paper and explained nothing. How this place is allowed to operate this way is unbelievable.

This hospital sucks! I had a bad experience when I went to the ER. I went because I'm pregnant and my stomach was hurting really bad! I waited for an hour or 2 to be seen and then waited another hour for the doctor to come and check me. The doctor was racist and she didn't even examine me or anything!! She told me that nothing was wrong and that I could go home even though she didn't check or do anything thing to me! And I had a male nurse and he was judging me for no reason, he was giving me mean looks and all! I won't be going to this hospital anymore!

Been here a lot. And at times the wait can be extremely long. Went a couple yrs ago with the flu. Sat in the front for about 1 or 2 hour then in the back about 2 more hrs. And only seen my male nurse once decided to just leave.

Run the other way, Harnett Health is 20 mins away! Do not seek help at Betsy Johnson! Especially if your life DEPENDS on it!

It was not good we had a baby their and we ask them not to do the heal prick test and the nurse lie and try to say it NC mandatory and it is not my mom work at duke PEDs and after we ask them not to do it when we sent our baby to the nurse they did the test anyway so I guess hospital can do what they want with your baby if they want respect you're wishes what else's go on when u r not looking I would like to know the nurse name 2/17/17 that was the night she was working

Don't go to Betsey Johnson if you have a legit emergency… They pick sick coughing people over people who have legitimate emergencies and needs to be seen as soon as possible. After waiting over an hour in the waiting room of the emergency room, people that come in after I did are going back to triage before me… People that I hear their chief complaint of coughing sinuses mucus etc. apparently pregnant people who are bleeding and severe pain on their side are not as important as people with the flu. Every time I come to this hospital I always have problems with one department whether it be the ED department the billing department or even registration. These people cannot get their practice together they are a pathetic excuse for a hospital.. might as well slap a sign over the sign "emergency department" and put sick clinic because you're a life-threatening emergencies will not be helped here.

This is one sick Hospital. They didn't refigerate my son when he died. Worst thing is they new he was coming there. I called told them I wanted full Autopsy. Just sick.
