My husband was treated here in December 2013 through January 2014 for cirrhosis of the liver. He put the staff through heck during withdrawals from alcohol. They tried their best to save his life but it was too late. The nurses and doctors were amazing and so sympathetic to me. I will never forget their kindness because to me it was above the call of duty. Not only were they so kind they made sure charity paid for everything. We had no healthcare. I couldn't have made it through without their amazing staff. One nurse even prayed with him to make sure he was right with God before his death! That to me meant more than words can express.

I have always said I wouldn’t take myself or my child here, but I ended up trying it out as it was the most convenient location after an emergency tonight. My 4 yo daughter had a minor laceration that needed to be tended to. There was hardly a wait time at all, and we were taken care of by two wonderful nurses and a fantastic physician in the Peds ER. I was not very happy with the service at the reception desk, but the providers fully made up for it. They were extremely good to my daughter and even gave her a candy cane and stickers. Definitely will go again if needed!

Worst hospital I've ever been to in my life. Staff doesn't speak or comprehend English. They have no urgency. They have nobody at the entrances to sign you in and no signs stating where to go to register. We spent 35 minutes registering and went to the lab for newborn screenings only to have to fill out the same info AGAIN. Horrible hospital!! Will never come back.

Came in with severe back pain keeping me from work. Staff rude from the moment I came in. Forced to take urine before even registering because everyone that walks in is a criminal to them. Forced to give ss# before being checked in despite having insurance and having accrued 0 services. Sign out front said average wait time 11 minutes. I'm writing as I pass 75. Very misleading. In tremendous pain and unsure if I will see a doctor at all.

    ----Update-----

The PA and the nurses that saw me were wonderful and caring. ER director followed up with a very professional and empathetic conversation. The main issue I had was communication and he vowed earnestly to address it. The overall care I received was fantastic and I'm confident they'll continue to improve their customer service.

My overall experience was amazing! Staff were very professional, cared about my needs, took great care of me and my family. Labor and delivery was fast and I received nonstop care. Best experience I've had with a hospital.

I was a patient in the Day Surgery, every aspect of my experience was easy and professional. Every nurse and staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful and informative. My experience at East side was beyond what I could have asked for and I would definitely recommend anyone to this Hospital. My main nurse was awesome, constantly making sure I didn't need anything. I was very pleased with my visit and have no complaints!!

This has been the worse experience I've ever had at any hospital ever! Staff is so uninterested, unfriendly, indifferent and just plain out rude. Nurses are known for being friendly, upbeat, announcing themselves and their duties when they walk in the room and I can not say that's what I experienced. My father was rushed to the ER for what we believed was a stroke we were attended immediately because we arrived with the ambulance but besides that the customer care was terrible. We pressed the nurse call button twice the nurse appeared within 20 to 30 minutes each time. We were later transferred from one department to another and the gentleman moving my father did not even wait for my sister and I as we gathered my father's belongings he simply stormed off and disappeared. I have to highlight, we experienced a very friendly nurse called Yelena. Excellent customer care. Besides her every other nurse and head nurse seemed to be there unwillingly or were just unhappy and uninterested. My father was very dizzy and drained through out his stay and always asked for me to hold him if he was required to sit or move, and answer any questions for him and I had nurses actually tell me to let him go because the bed was there just in case he fainted. Another kept interrupting me as I tried to answer questions for him as he was unable, the nurse actually spoke over me attempting to ignore me and demand my dad speak for himself . UNBELIEVABLY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Some machine never worked or the nurse never figured out to get it to start which made my father very uneasy throughout the entire night I believe their level of professionalism was never felt, sympathy was invisible just really one of the worse feeling to have your father feeling ill and seeing other peoples indifference towards him. The only reason we landed here is because the ambulance suggested the closest medical center and I agreed because I believed that every professional is aware of what their duties entitle and what is required of them, Eastside Medical proved me wrong.

First visit to the Pediatrics ER side of the hospital & I was very pleased. We walked in with a very frightened child and as I would give my information to check in- the front desk lady would try to comfort my daughter "it's okaysweetie you'll be okayaww sweetie you're in good hands, we will get you all better" keep in mind this was the same lady checking me in. Few minutes later, we were called to the back and same kindness was received there. The nurses were amazing. The doctor was too. We returned a week later for a follow up and once again were pleased. If fact, we were seen by the same sweet nurse. Doctor was there but we didn't need to be seen by her.

If you want to be taken care of, do NOT come here. Ever. Especially not the ER, which especially has horrible staff. I have never had a single good experience here, and neither have any of my family or friends.

When my mother was taken here after having a heart attack, they were told to sit in the waiting room for HOURS. During which time she had a SECOND HEART ATTACK because the stupid staff was too busy chatting with each other to care that my mom could have literally died in their stupid waiting room. The surgeon was furious when he heard how long she had to wait, and informed us that she was lucky to be alive. And during her recovery period, the nurse assigned to her care acted pissed off the entire time and treated my mom like it was her problem that she was in pain, and that she needed to just deal with it. My family was furious and my sister immediately chewed out the manager, who quickly assured us that a different nurse would take over - not even 20 minutes later, the same rude nurse came back in the room to continue with further "care."

When my husband took me here at 3 am one morning (several years ago) for extreme abdominal pain (I had accidentally swallowed plastic from a restaurant smoothie - long story, resulted in stomach and intestinal damage), we waited until 8 am in the waiting room, listening to people complain about having been waiting since 7 pm the previous night and still not getting to see a doctor, and finally we just gave up and drove 10 minutes away to a regular doctor, who quickly ushered me in to an examination room and immediately ordered an endoscopy to check for internal damage.

I have never once met a resident of Snellville that had a good experience at this hospital. If you want to be treated professionally or like your life matters, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I'm here now with my daughter and the night shift staff were amazing, the nurse check in on her frequently, the day staff had been good so far I'll give 3 star rating now, so let's see what happens next. The doc came in and talk to use for a few minutes, doctors never stay long in a rom anyway always on the run. The nutritionist was amazing.

This was literally the WORST hospital I have ever been to in my entire life, if I was dying outside of this hospital I would request they let me die outside peacefully. the wait time was over 2 hours on a Monday night not because it was busy but because the nurses were slow and uncaring, I came in with severe abdominal pain and bleeding an I kid you not they did not bat an eye I waited two hours to get triaged where they put in an IV and SENT ME BACK TO TE WAITING room, I have never In my life seen a hospital do that you can easily walk out with an iv stuck in your arm that is a HUGE safety issue, once I got to the room the nurse just told me to go in there she said nothing else and left, after 30 min of waiting and no one showed up I pressed my call button it rang at the nurses station for an extra 15min while they laughed and cackled about men and their sex lives, she finally cam I requested a single blanket that I was given 30 min later long story short the doctor came in for 2 seconds had a phone call on hold while she was discussing my medical information to me and said I was fine and she was sending me home and walked out, I wouldn't take my damn dog to this hospital. please don't go.

Charge nurse came in 55 minutes ago and was going to get back with how much longer. No show but I can see the staff on phones in nursing station. Partially because they just leave the curtain open when they walk out Been here 5 hrs . No one in lobby when arrived. Use to recommend this place. Bloody clothes on counter from previous patient
