I loved it, it's a very nice clean hotel food and the kickback was great. I got in the hot tub for the first time it felt amazing. The only problem I had was the pools and hot tub I only got one time to experience it because kids were taking over and too loud. But overall we enjoyed our stay

I'm a picky hotel guest, especially pet friendly ones. However, I'm pleased to review this hotel is in a safe well lit and populated area next to Pappadeaux's Seafood Kitchen. The property is. Fairly new. The receptionist..Angie was very welcoming..professional and polite. Our was was clean, huge and well appointed. I highly recommend this hotel.

Not the best Drury I've been to. When we got to our floor we were greeted by the smell of smoke in the hallway. We were thankful that the smell had not permeated the room. The room itself was alright and clean. However the window was simply a notch in the wall with the rest of the wall being like prison brick. The proximity to a great restaurant is the only reason it gets any stars. The location really leaves much to be desired

We evacuated here from FL during Hurricane Irma with our Labrador. This was one of the few hotels we could bring him! The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable bed. Suite-style was nice to have the extra space. Hot breakfast, free wifi, and evening snacks all helped our stay be as comfortable as possible. We were able to get a room near the back, close to the stairs which made taking our dog out easy. The ONLY negatives were that we weren't able to check in early (arrived at 11a after driving all night) and the dog across the hall that barked when it's owners left the room. But, a big plus, we decided to leave a few days earlier than originally booked and were able to cancel those extra days with no question or charges. Would absolutely stay at a Drury again!

Small, clean & comfortable, intelligently & efficiently laid out room. Per staff, recently redone. Bed firmness was just right. Nice & quiet, and was able to darken well to sleep in late. Friendly & helpful staff. Free breakfast was not bad. Afternoon snack & beverages were a welcome bonus. Able to park near door, and lot was adequately lit. Location convenient to the things I wanted to do. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Plan to stay here again.

Not far from the Birmingham Zoo and The Summit and only a short drive to Splash Adventures. My reservation was for a queen double and I got upgraded to a queen double suite. Also, after an early morning drive and day at the Birmingham Zoo I was ready to check in and they allowed me to check in early. My room was very relaxing especially the shower. My kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The hotel also had popcorn and taco night with other appetizers which was a great snack and dinner for everyone. We really enjoyed our stay.

One of our favorite hotels in the Birmingham area. Great location, very clean, amazing staff & great breakfast! Also pet friendly! Cory at the front desk is just amazing. We will always stay here when we need a hotel! Highly highly recommend!

We were at Drury inn and suites southeast Birmingham. It was a delightful stay start to finish. The kickback was awesome. The manager himself checked on anything I needed to know about for our gluten needs. The rooms were wonderful, stayed in 415. Only minor issue was one of the dispensers in the tub had a button that stuck so it leaked, but that wasn't a bother to us. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Everything was where it was supposed to be. The breakfast was expansive and tasty. Again, the manager helped with food labels. Had great conversations with staff. I would stay again in a heartbeat. But, I've loved Drury for 17 years, so I might be biased. But my kids and sister enjoyed it ,too! May 9, 2017

The hotel was located just near the interstate and very easy to park. However, my wife and I walked around the whole hotel since we arrived after 10 and the doors were locked down. Minor annoyance but should be easier to find the main entrance. Also the main entrance was quite narrow, so guests have to single file in. The architecture is a bit dated but they have modernized the decor quite a bit. The room was nice appointed and the staff was very friendly. I would stay again.

My husband and I stayed one night at the Drury in and loved it! They have so many different accommodations to make your stay the best. They have a indoor Jacuzzi, and indoor/outdoor pool, small gym, ice machines on every floor, and a laundry room (which we used! Great machines - gentle on clothes). Another thing that was pretty surprising, but complimentary, was that you receive three free adult beverages between 5 PM and 7 PM (the only hard part is that is dinner time so we weren't in the hotel 😞). Oh! And the beds. Everyone always wants to know about the beds, but for some reason no one ever mentions that. Our bed what is firm yet comfortable. I always love the smell of hotel sheets so that was very comforting. Lastly, waking up to a hot breakfast was the cherry on top. Biscuits and gravy for the win! 🙏✨

We had a great experience at the Drury Suites off 280. My 2 sister-in-laws and I took all 9 of our children for spring break. The staff was so sweet to our kids. They made us feel very welcome. Our rooms were very clean and the food was excellent!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to make it an annual meeting place.
