The beds are super comfy however if your there to visit new York u may want to get somewhere closer to the city center. During are visit the pool was unfortunately closed and to replace it we got free breakfast. Cookies are delicious

Currently the hotel is undergoing some major renovations. I can’t wait to come back and see all the improvements with this hotel. My room was great. Very clean and comfortable with great lighting. Lots of space to move around in my room. The bar was very clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was above average. Very hot and fresh both days I ate there. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, was very close to the newark airport making it easy for guests to find a place to stay. I was given great service by the front counter. Staff was always willing to help and rooms were kept clean and were spacious. The hotel has a great gym which is also kept clean. Room was also cheap.

The hotel is currently going through renovations. Pool and Executive Lounge are not available. We had breakfast buffet as a Hilton Diamond in the restaurant near the lobby. The free shuttle to Newark Liberty airport makes it convenient for late or early flights. Staff was friendly and helpful at every turn. We will stay again.

Excellent hotel, very clean and prestigious environment. Staff is friendly and helpful and guests always seem to be enjoying the facilities and common areas. Their food is excellent even though it's a bit pricey and the gift shop was pretty cool too

a week later and my card is still being held for $100.00 after I paid the room in full, no one today could help me with this, stating that its "normal" to hold the card for a week after a stay? Unbelievable. Poor solution solving at this hotel. Will not be staying here again, so my money after paying in full can be held. Wonder if I will ever see the money again!!!!! And the room was standard at best for the price we paid for it!!!!

Dirty hotel and dangerous vans. We arrived after midnight and the bar/restaurant was already closed. Room service stops at 11:00pm BEFORE the kitchen closes. Most hotels have a limited kitchen/room service until 1 or 2 am or even 24 hours. Elevators were dirty with broken buttons and the security key card system was inoperative. Hallway carpets were dirty with trash and leftover food sitting outside the rooms. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable until we found ANTS in the sheets, night table, and near the TV. Both hotel vans had broken seat belts and the interior door handle didn't work on the sliding door. So if there was an accident you had no safety belts and you could NOT get out of the van from the inside (major DOT violations). This property is very isolated with very little food choices and situated next to a NJ State prison! Although the front desk staff and drivers were very nice I will not be returning to this hotel in the future.

Hotel is clean and service was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was kind of small and there is no where to put on makeup or style hair outside the bathroom. The lighting in the room is not good enough for that and there are no outlets near the mirror in the room. The bed was very comfortable and there are plenty of outlets near each side of the bed. Breakfast was fine. Ample but nothing special. As always, the DoubleTree cookies are a treat.

Nice facility. Kids enjoyed the warm indoor pool. Looks like they had a hot tub at one point, but it is a filled in planter box now. Continental breakfast was pretty good, I don't know if I will would have paid $16 as it is listed, but it was included in our stay. Our room was clean but had a few maintenance issues that we flagged.

Lovely hotel, but undergoing extensive renovations, so the a/c wasn't working very well in our rooms and the Hilton Honors lounge was temporarily relocated to a very small nook of sorts. Other than that, the food was great, the staff was lovely and very helpful, and the location was great for easy access to the airport.

We did not stay in the room. We were there for an event in the banquet hall. The service was good. Any issues that we had the banquet manager resolved it. And the food was also surprisingly good.

Close to the airport and close to New York City. They are going through Innovation right to modernize the appearance and they were doing a good job doing that while working around the guests. Everyone was super friendly and the customer service was top-notch. The breakfast buffet was very good and the fitness center was excellent. Indoor pool was a nice touch. A few more kid-friendly channels on the TV you would really be my only criticism since I was here with my family.

I travel more than most, but not as much as some. That being said, I am used to finding my way around a hotel. My experience was not great, I requested a refrigerator, because the room is not equipped with one normally. It took almost an hour to receive it. After traveling for several hours, then worked for several more. I was tired. Could not get an answer from my call to the front desk, Had to go down to the lobby to get an answer. Besides this incident, the room was nice, this the 3 stars

Rooms seemed clean, but there was a lingering cigarettes smell in the e room, sheets and towels. Rooms were well sound proofed, except for between floors. I keep hearing people upstairs VERy early in the morning. Staff were very courteous. Warm cookies awaiting at check-in was a nice gesture!
