Great service, dated..well, everything else. We stayed on the third floor, and upon stepping out of the elevator, we felt as if we walked into an episode of Doctor Who. Later on our daughter came with us, and the lights in the elevator started flickering It really added to the feel. They should either update, or rent out the space for film sets.

I was expecting nice, but not this awesomeness. From the minute we walked in, Jimmy greeted us, and answered all our questions about the resort, and our best seafood dinner was a place he recommended
Our room (212) had a really nice view, and was super clean.
The restaurant served a hearty breakfast at a very reasonable price. The burgers at lunch were tasty. Thank you Marcy for the wonderful service.
The Knock-out punch is the beach!! wide and expansive, beautiful fine sand, and great to swim I love nice beaches, and this was fabulous.
The pool was also very good, with plenty of loungers and shade.
Overall,this is the only place I will stay in the area.
Worth every dollar.

Right on the beach! A much better value than the Marriott we stayed at further north. After not liking that place the first night (loud, dated, not a great value for what was paid,) we chose Dolphin Beach Resort and have been very happy the two nights we have stayed so far. Clean, hot shower. Useful mini fridge for things bought across the street at Publix. Was able to check in a few hours early because they had the room ready. A bit more noise than I would like from the pool, but we're ground floor, pool-facing so that's expected (so far the noise hasn't gone too late.)

My friend and I stayed here for a long weekend. We had a wonderful time. The hotel is clean and provides all basic needs. The beach access is excellent, and the rental price for the beach chairs was very good too. The only minor suggestions I would have would be to improve the outside beach bar, and to improve the front desk service. The outside beach bar had small drinks that were overpriced and contained little liquor. The front desk people were nice and accomodating, but they have a policy of not bringing extra towels to the rooms. Also, it took us awhile to get our room when we first arrived. These were very minor issues, and we very much enjoyed our stay. We would absolutely stay here again.

Came here for a weekend with family. We got amazing service and the staff in the hotel and the bar were great! The location is an ideal spot too. Very close to the beach and the best part is you can see dolphins jumping and swimming in the water!! Rita at the front desk was especially nice, we needed a little extra time to get up in the morning and she was very understanding. Overall we will return for a future visit.

Dolphin Beach resort is one of the best I've ever visited. It may look quaint from the outside but in the inside it is bet modern and upscale with very vibrant Florida colors. The staff is wonderful and efficient. The restaurant serves a variety of food from lobster to pizza, and it is all delicious. The pool is fairly large, heated, and kept very clean. There is an outside bar that plays amazing music and serves great drinks. You can walk right onto the white sandy beach that stretches for miles. You can travel a little farther and get to the ocean where cabanas are available for resort members. Overall the Dolphin Beach resort is amazing for a family vacation or just a mommy daddy vacation.

Breakfast is decent, haven't had their lunch menu at all, neither have had dinner. Room service is good, rooms always seem clean. They did forget a rollaway mattress we ordered.

Beautiful resort right on the beach. The room walks right out to the beach, beautiful pool. I wish there were more tables outside that had shaded cover.

At first I was concerned with some of the reviews. My room was very clean as well as the whole resort. The beach is perfect and we could see dolphins swimming along the shore.
UPDATE: I would like to see management make this entire resort and Grounds No Smoking - Look around and see cigarette butts all over - stuck in every part of All the decks and in the nice garden areas around the pool. If the rudys don't know how to behave, let them keep their butts home.

On a public beach - nice to walk out of the lobby and be right on the gulf. Rooms were OK, nothing fancy. Pool area had lots of lounge chairs, and several sets of tables/chairs. Shuffleboard near pool. People renting jet-skis on the beach just outside of the hotel. Nice lounge chairs also for rent on the beach. Grocery store across the street, within walking distance. Not bad place if you want to spend all your time on the beach, not hanging out inside the hotel.
