My wife and I stayed at the All Star Music resort the week before Christmas, of 2017. We absolutely loved it! The entire resort was very clean, well-maintained, immaculately groomed, and overall very appealing and comfortable. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to make our entire stay much more magical! The food in the food court area was overall very good, we also ordered late-night room service which arrived via friendly delivery man. The pool areas were great! Extremely clean and did not smell of chemicals at all. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our entire stay and everything about it! We would definitely stay there again. We also took advantage of the Disney's Magical Express shuttle and luggage service to and from the airport, it was very convenient and highly recommended!
We stayed at the Calypso and had 6 people in or party. The room was large and had two full baths. The room slept up to 8 so it was plenty of room. Loved 3verything and have no complaints except for the laundry room having issues and having to walk to the net one over to finish my clothes. I n all it was very enjoyable and the staff from the bellhops to the management was very courteous and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had what3v3r was needed. I can not wait to return and stay here again next Christmas.
A great value for a 2 night stay. Room was better than expected but mattress a bit noisy and carpet dingey. Otherwise it exceeded our expectations. Food was good and convenient and the resort offered a lot to do once you were done at the parks for the day (pool, movies outside, arcade, jog trail). Buses to parks were right outside the main building. It was a great stay for us.
The hotel was decent we stayed in Country Fair which was the farthest away from the cafeteria which isn't too bad considering everyone in my group was in their 20s, but I could see the distance causing trouble for others. The room was small but we only really slept there. The pool opens at 10am and closes at 10pm which is a problem if you are at the park all day and don't get back to your room until 9:30pm (we never got the chance to use it). The issue is the floor. If you stay here take a look at the baseboards they're covered in dust that turned to grime and the bathroom tile is just grungy. The biggest, worst thing was spilling a sprite on the carpet and using a white towel to soak it up. The once white towel literally turned brown upon contact with the carpet. The floor should not turn a towel another color. It is in *desperate* need of a deep cleaning. There was nothing special about staying here, but the dining plan, convenience, and price point made it bearable.
Basic hotel room with nice big pools. Does have a bar and drinks are about 10 -12 dollars and beer about 7-9 dollars. Arcade for kids or adults if your still a kid at heart. Cafeteria style food. Burgers and pizzas are ok but ribs are better. Good desserts. Even has a kids pl playground. Staff is really friendly. This is where you stay if you don't want all the resort stuff or want to play an arm and a leg. Perfect if your only on the room to sleep and recharge for the next day.
The room is very basic. Not really big enough for a family of four with two teenagers for two weeks. The beds are very comfortable though. I don't understand the mind set of disney that a child is now up to a nine year old? Also how they expect two teenage children to share a bed. The food is quick counter like McDonald's and very salty. The staff are very welcoming and polite. But as you expect everything is every over price. Three times more expensive than you pay on the UK. £60 for 4 refill cups that you can only use in the hotel.
Basic rooms but an excellent place to stay. All rooms now have fridges and a tiny freezer. Great 2 pools and a tiny one for very small children. All have lifeguards. Great lobby with a gift shop and a good restaurant close to check in. This complex also has a games room. Would stay here again.
Just checked into room and found the carpet had not been vacuumed in like a WEEK. Dust bunnies everywhere on the floor, I mean lots of them. There was also scrap paper, tags, and various other pieces of debris. The rest of the room was clean but the carpet was inexcusable. Called housekeeping who said they would take care of it. Don’t have time to wait around to see. On the way to the parks, we stopped at the main desk and talked to the manager, who could not have been nicer. He also said he would follow up to make sure it was taken care of. He gave us a couple of extra fast passes. Still can’t believe the room was turned over in that condition. This is our first time in a value resort, hope they are all not that way.
This was my third at the All Star resorts and for the Disney value resorts they're not bad. The rooms are pretty much what you'd expect though I will say that the bathrooms are tiny. The pools aren't bad and there's a small arcade. The food is pretty standard, nor quite like port Orleans (my go to resort) or Polynesian village but it's still not bad. If you're getting a vending machine drink thigh be prepared to drop nearly $4. The All Star resort doesn't offer quite the experience as some of the higher priced resorts but as a Disney value hotel it still reads as Disney and is pretty solid.
Disney's All-Star Music Resort was great. Didn't want to come home after spending a few days there and the scenery was so beautiful and it felt different then when I went when I was younger. The room was beautiful as I stayed in the Jazz hotel and the only thing that went wrong was my suitcase being ripped and me missing a shoe from it. Other than that, the place was amazing and I'm glad I spent a few days rekindling the magic Disney gave me when I was little. Everyone I've met has been kind and helpful and the people there can be awesome. There's much to do with all the theme parks at a very high price but it was worth it as I was able to see the fireworks and river lighting.
I love the all Star music resort. For a value hotel this is beautiful, always clean, and the cast members are extremely helpful with every question we have. My family has been going to Disney world for over twenty years and we've tried the all star movies and sports but the music is our favorite. The pool is great, last year we asked for a premium room and we got to have a beautiful view of the pool and were very close to the front desk. I can't wait to visit this coming July.
Stayed here for two nights. This room has the bare necessities. It's only good for a place to sleep and shower. You cannot save leftovers because there is no way to reheat food. I would not stay here again. This is definitely a budget value hotel with a moderate hotel price.
Pro: 1. Clean furniture
2. Comfortable beds
Con:
1. Dirty towels
2. No coffee machine
3. No microwave
4. No liquid soap. You get a bar of soap. The shampoo and conditioner is 2 in 1. It's only enough for two uses. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner!
You get what you paid for. 1st time at Disney and I will never come here to stay ever. Pay alittle more and stay elsewhere it's closer to the theme parks. Shuttle bus doesn't come as often as other places, beds are small (2 full size beds), tiny bathroom where the toilet is right by the door, no shampoo and conditioner nor body lotions are given, 3 tiny drawers to put away the clothes, and etcDon't let the pictures fool you. The place is like Hotel 8 but repainted with a few Disney character pictures. I would not recommend this place especially if this is your first time going to Disney World.
Arrived late to resort due to cancelled flight earlier in the day to find the room we were in was the furthest from the front desk (not a big deal at all). While getting ready for bed, three bugs were killed in the bathroom, which is understandable since it was on the first level and it's Florida, but then I pulled down the blankets on one of two beds to find a worm like bug under the covers. I was ok with this (since we were so tired) but when we woke up, there were three more bugs in the room. I was impressed with the solution and customer service given by the cast members after bringing up this issue. We were moved to a family suite at the front of the resort for no extra charge, finally allowing us to get peaceful, bug-free sleep! Probably would spring for a higher quality resort next time as these rooms need a lot of updating. The pool hours were also limited, in my opinion anyway. Open 9am to 10pm, would have been awesome if they were open until 12 but no big deal. Just less chance to swim after visiting parks.
Great room and great perks for a great price. Beds were great after a great day at the parks, showers were hot and water pressure was good. Room was very close to all parks and so we drove, but park transport was available and accessible. Extended hours for resort goers was awesome! It acted as a fast pass of sorts as we got to see Pandoras Banshee that night and toy story in the morning for shorter than usual wait times. An excellent visit.
