Caveat emptor! You've been warned. This place is hands down the worst place I have stayed. Besides being disgustingly filthy, the sheets and towels are thread bare thin and heavily stained. The continental breakfast is a joke. The same stale pastries served every day. If you want milk for your coffee or cereal, you have to ask for it from the wife who then pours it. If you check out before 11:00, be sure you get your total bill then. Have Raj (owner who will state that he is the just the manager) sign the time you checked out or he will charge you. He is a liar and a thief. We checked out before 11:00 AM; I delivered both keys to him and his wife before 11:00 (otherwise I would have left them in the room). He still charged us. We were told that there was an onsite laundry service. There are two very old - both broken - washers. There has been no cleaning of the machines or the room in years would be my guess. Stay away!

Decent place for the price, very affordable. The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is free. The pool and the lake are enjoyable.

We saw three rooms and each had a foul oder. Ceilings were stained and paint was stained. Outside is worse.

Wifi was out in rooms but available in the lobby.

Breakfast was stale pastries and cereal. Coffee machine made good coffee.

Staff were pleasant.

we happened to be on our way home disappointed and crying because Shergil Resort in winter haven had canceled our already booked and paid for 2 night stay stating they had accidentally overbooked and can do nothing for us. it was 1030pm at night and we were with our baby and 4 other young children. my husband called a total of 8 hotels in the area and all were sold out. blind from crying because we were on our way home 3 hours away, it was my sweet husband who saw the vacancy sign for GREEN GABLES INN and got us a room after explaining what had just happened to us. we were placed in a non smoking double bed room. although the room was older and humble, it was clean, decent, and the beds were soft and comfortable. we had ample room, a mini fridg, a microwave, coffee maker, two sinks and a closet with built in hangers, a full mirror with dresser. the included breakfast was modest but the coffee was great. i happen to ask a question and the Owner stopped what he was doing and researched into finding the answer to my question about local churches. i asked for 6 towels and the owner had his housekeeping get them straight from the dryer nice and clean and fresh for me. we had a hiccup in the late night due to our key card malfunctioning but other than that we had a good experience.
keep in mind that it seemed like most of thier clientele were adult construction workers needing extended stay. it was a comfortable place to stay.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. OWNERS ARE HORRIBLE RUDE AND STEAL. THERE ARE BUGS IN THE ROOMS. THEY DO NOT CLEAN THE ROOMS WITH DISINFECTANT. THEY DONT GIVE THEIR CLEANING PEOPLE THE RIGHT THINGS TO CLEAN WITH. BATHROOMS HAVE MOLD. ICE MAKER HALF WORKS BUT ICE COMES OUT WITH STUFF ON IT. THEY WILL WAIT TO CHARGE YOU THE MONEY UNTIL MONTHS LATER. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MY WORST ENEMY TO STAY HERE. INWOULDNT LET A CAT OFF THE STREETS TAKE UP RESIDENCE THERE.

We had a very pleasant stay while visiting Bok Tower and Norbey's Steakhouse. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the management very gracious with a nice breakfast. I highly recommend staying here for the value.

This MOTEL was horrible! We booked it through expedia for $82 a night as a hotel. When we arrived we saw the sign that said Motel. We checked in to give it the benefit of the doubt but we could not stay the night under those conditions. There were dead roaches in the bathroom. Brown water came out of the faucet. The beds smelled like body odor! The microwave, lamps, walls had stains on them. We lost our money since we could not stay the night under those conditions and due to their non refund policy.
