One of the best golf resorts in the nation. The red course is the best of the bunch but a first class resort that treats people the right way.

I'll start out by saying I'll never come back! It has such great potential but a lot has to change before it gets anywhere to where it should be. The costumer service is horrible. No one was friendly except a few bar tenders. The spa was very cold and the therapist talked the entire massage. I could go on for days. Worst trip in a very long time.

The golf courses, lodging, service and food are outstanding. i played the Blue, Red and Black courses 10/15-10/17 which have great layouts and were all in excellent condition. The fore-caddies/caddies are a big help when navigating the course and reading putts. The Lodge is the place to stay. I recommend the 5th floor with lake view. The roof top bar and grill (Fragmentary Blue) is ideal for a drink and bite to eat and offers spectacular views. I got my cigar fix in around the fire tables on the ground level. Truly a top notch golf resort!

I have played the Red/Blue courses roughly 30-40 times and just spent a week there with a group from my club. With great anticipation I looked forward to playing the Black course and was disappointed. I enjoyed the routing but the greens are so tricked up that it made the two rounds we played on it less than enjoyable. I am a Gil Hanse fan but sincerely believe if the greens are not softened a bit, it will get nowhere near the play as Red/Blue. Other than that, the trip regardless of the wind and rain was as good as ever, the caddies terrific and the rooms superb. The Red/Blue are wonderful courses, an experience you would never expect in Florida.

Beautiful hotel and golf courses. Food was also great. Recommend steak and eggs for breakfast. Rooftop bar is a great place to chill after a round.

Absolutely one of the most relaxing and enjoyable quiet getaways you could ask for. I have been twice and the architecture, staff, food, spa, running path, golf course, views, ponds, etc are out of this world. Also the arrival drive is super James Bond feeling so that was fun. I cannot wait to go again.

This is a fantastic GOLF resort. However, I would not advise bringing spouses who do not play golf or kids of any age to this resort. Resort is in remote location, about 30-40 minutes from smaller city with more options. The red course is more challenging and the greens roll smoother. Blue course is friendlier for scoring low and the greens have more sand in them which I didn't care for because they didn't roll true. Black course is undergoing construction as of 8/5/17. Go play and stay if golf is all you want to do. If you want to golf with more options stay in Bartow.

Beautiful, striking landscape of waving fescue, rolling valleys and clear, deep blue ponds. Similar to Erin Hills, site of 2017 US Open. Golf is a lifetime experience. Our caddie, Dale, was outstanding, worked hard to give us all good golf advice, and made the round so much more enjoyable. The golf management has the pre- and post-round systems down to a science. Our bags and parking were hassle-free. Highly recommend putting this on your bucket list.

underwhelming entrance very pristine and lacking any pizzaz or warmth no one to welcome poor signage - had to hunt/guess where pool was located and pool not open as advertised. Although well below capacity. we were assigned a room on the 3rd floor and almost at end of hallway from elevator. Room however was excellent great and functional layout very comfortable.

The drive into Streamsong is so striking because it's the last place you'd expect a golf resort to pop up. The hotel and clubhouse look like a Bond villain's lair and for whatever reason, it works here. The golf complex is a 5-minute ride away from the main hotel, but there are Mercedes Sprinter Vans on continuous loop so it's not really an issue. We opted to stay in 2 of the 12 rooms above the Clubhouse because we had no desire to anything but golf. If you're with a big group, these are definitely the rooms to book.

You're coming to Streamsong for golf, so set your expectations correctly. Walk, take caddies, do it right. There are lots of kinks to be worked out on the hotel/resort side and in general the off-the-course experience is underwhelming. If you're staying above the clubhouse, you're best bet is to load up the kitchen with a ton of beer, wine, etc and spend as much time in there as possible and keep dinner to something simple like burgers in the bar.

My rating is based solely on dine in food service.

The wait staff were attentive, very friendly, and paid attention to detail. I ordered the steak salad. The food was excellent. Portion size was great.

Its been 3 weeks since I checked out. I called after finding an extra $600 in charges. They assured me that it was reversed and that it will take a few days to hit. Well, here we are, 3 weeks later and still no refund. I've left 3 VM messages with no response. This is indicative of the overall service at this resort. I think because it is so remote they probably have a hard time finding good help. Either way, I feel scammed and now I have to waste my time filing a credit card dispute. Most high end resorts don't play these games.
