Normally, when the view is spectacular, the food is less Here the view is spectacular and the food and service even more!! A feast on many levels.
The view is amazing ! Service and staff was phenomenal. The only downside there's not many food options, my food was personally to salty. So the only reason I would go back is for the view , good atmosphere and the great service!
Our dinner last night at Different Point of View ranks as one of our all time best. From the ambience, to the outstanding food and service, to that VIEW..certainly makes it a restaurant you want to experience. Husband had the Steak Bistro and I (who has never ordered pork in a restaurant) am still amazed at the beautiful presentation and tenderness of the pork tenderloin. No matter what you order the wine list offers a wonderful variety and quality selection to pair with your entree. This is a great restaurant and kudos to our wonderful, informative servers, Bob and Austin! Highly recommend! Thanks for a great evening!
Fantastic view of Phoenix, great upscale restaurant and bar. Plan to hang out and enjoy the view, sunset, sky and stars. Slightly dated, could use a remodel, but can be very romantic and cozy. Great service and wait staff, they know how to treat and serve a 5 star meal. Should be on your bucket list.
Different Pointe of View Restaurant/Pointe Hilton needs to do a way better job of explaining that this restaurant is on top of a steep mountain. I have issues with heights and the physical climb to the top was very scary. There is no way I was going to drive up the very steep slope. This property should have some kind of ongoing shuttle to the top. I called this restaurant 3 times and nobody went to the trouble of explaining. After reading other reviews I'm glad we didn't make it to the top.
Beautiful view from up here! The sunset is amazing. Bring money though! $50 for a steak. You're paying for the atmosphere. D
My wife and I went there for dinner on Friday, since we could plan for her to be on time for her symphony rehearsal a block away. The food was delicious. My wife had the Ahi Tuna, I had the herb crusted Halibut, and we split a strawberry bib salad. Our waiter was friendly and accommodating. The real extra special kindness that was shown was that since we were going to be downtown for a few hours and would not be able to refrigerate our leftovers, they volunteered to keep them for us in their cooler for later pickup after my wife's rehearsal. We will definitely go back many times to this wonderful restaurant.
If you want top notch service, the best food, and a gorgeous view this is the place. Sunset dinners here are amazing. Very quiet and very intimate dining experience coupled with highly attentive and knowledgeable staff. So much so that this was where I picked to propose to my fiancee several years ago. The staff knew I was going to do it and we're watching and waiting for the exact "yes" moment so they could bring by the bubbly with which to celebrate. Don't miss your chance to have one of the best nights out.
One of my all time favorite restaurants in the Phoenix area. The food, wines, service, selection, and of course the view are all impeccable! When visiting one must go onto the terrace outside the adjacent lounge. There you will be able to appreciate their one of a kind, patented fountain. It's uniqueness arrives at the startling way live fire dances atop the water as it's flowing down. All this amidst the glorious back drop of a Arizona sunset. Truly fabulous!
I am only giving this place 2 stars due to service. Specific to the waiting staff. The waiting staff treated my girlfriend and I like we were kids. We are 22 I understand but in no way do we look act or anything close to our age. The wait staff was very very slow. Food was slightly warm. My girlfriend and I got very sick after eating here. They didn't apologize for really anything at all while we were there. Tee were there for my last meal before I deploy for the next year and our anniversary. I would give the view 5/5 food 2/5 and services a 2/5. I felt like they served the table behind us much better due to it was an older couple. I am sorry I tip very well and I can afford to also. They came in 10-15 mins after us got their drinks before us and it was a 6 top and we were a 2 top. If you want a good meal I would suggest going to top of the rock in Tempe or compass Arizona down town both have the same view better service and food in my book
This is one of the places that I like to take Phoenix visitors to see a spectacular sunset view. The restaurant and bar are situated perfectly for a mesmerizing, unobstructed view of the sunset. The food at the restaurant is delicious - I recommend trying it out during restaurant week so you can try a little of everything for a cheaper price. The bar has well-balanced cocktails that are a nice accompaniment. If you want to see a great sunset in North Phoenix, hop over to the bar, grab a nice drink, and soak it all in.
The food is absolutely stunning! Reading some of the reviews from self proclaimed foodies is highly questionable. The wagu beef cheek was amazing. I may go back and just order the appetizer x2 for my meal. The view is secondary to the food and service.
Dinner was great. View was great. We had a party of 7 and sat outside. Couldn't ask for more. The food was plenty and tasty. Not over or under seasoned. Drinks could be better but we had a wonderful time. Restaurant week would be a great time to revisit.
