There for a large holiday gathering. Parking convenient. Coctails and mingling outside on the lawn. Open bar. Lots of seating. Dinner in large conference room. Temperature comfortable even with a large group. Serve yourself buffet included salads, fish, chicken, a carve-to-order prime rib station, vegetables and a variety of desserts. Live dance music. Large dance floor. All in all a very pleasant evening in a comfortable location.

I've brought two travel groups here - it's a favorite!

Both groups I have taken for a week at the Scottsdale Resort have absolutely loved the property. Each morning I take a walk around the golf green and watch the sunrise. The hotel itself is classy, rustic, southwestern USA architecture. There is a wonderful mix of ranch and Mexican heritage that I especially appreciate. The location is pretty private which is a wonderful breather from the city, but means that you need a car for most food locations outside of the resort. The guacamole at the pool bar is to die for! The staff are amazing to work with - they go above and beyond to welcome our groups. Flowers in full bloom through most of the year. Fireworks off property happen quite often on the weekends and are fully visible from the hotel. Sometimes weddings with mariachi bands are held on property in which case I love to find a chair in the courtyards and soak in the perfect weather.

Not really a bad view to be found at the resort, either you look over the green or the pools or the courtyards.

First time staying at the resort but it was a wonderful experience. Guest services were so accommodating! We had an issue with our room and they took care of us right away. Just excellent service. And the resort was just beautiful. I will definitely be staying there again.

Gorgeous hotel. Our friends have held our local convention at this hotel for three years and running. Our contract ends after three years and we are going for another contract be sure of how happy we have been here. This hotel provides excellent service as both a hotel and as a convention space. Their staff is friendly and their pool and services are clean and kept up to date. Food and bar are wonderful as well. Would definitely recommend for a wedding or if you are looking to hold a convention.

I visited this property to use their spa services and spent some time by the pool. The service and facilities were terrific. Not only was the spa treatment wonderful, with a very knowledgeable and attentive staff, but the same could be said of their pool. The pool area was very well laid out, with a very nice pool and water feature surrounded by deck chairs, cabanas, and a large bar/grill. They had music playing but it wasn't too loud to keep you from taking a nap, and the staff was very welcoming and ate to be. I highly recommend the property for a day pass, spa visit or to stay, as my wife and I definitely plan to stay here next time we're visiting Scottsdale.

Excellent place to stay. Staff are very friendly, helpful and always happy to help. The food is fantastic and with so many places to enjoy your morning coffee, makes you feel you have the place to yourself. Had a room overlooking the golf course which provided a great view. Pool is not over big but provides a relaxing swim and cocktails.

Rooms were nice A/C couldn't keep the room cool enough for my liking but was at least tolerable. Pool bartender was very rude to my wife. We filed A complaint at the end of our stay but we didn't leave feeling like they cared. A few days later after our stay we noticed we were charges an extra $150 on our credit card. We called back they had no idea why we were charges extra. So our stay-cation was pretty much ruined, hopefully our next stay will be better. We did get a hold of the manager and we were given a free night. So that was good. hopefully our next stay I'll be able to leave a better review.

Superb event location. Excellent facilities. Very accommodating. But business processes stink. In room phone didn't work, had to use my cellphone to call for room service. Set aside daily charges for incidentals are directly billed to your credit card, refunded later. Parking structure is 100% Valet when hotel is full. Many guests for our event had to park 3/4 mile away at golf course, and walk. Shuttles for extreme distances between event rooms are non existent. Few ADA compliant ramps and meeting room doorways. Whole place needs a revamp.

We attended a Medical conference here with about 100 families and a total of about 500 people. The staff was very considerate and helpful as many of our families have special needs. The staff helped accommodate and make us feel at ease as we could ask for. The kids loved the pool as it has a nice pergola and bridge over it to minimize the sun in some areas, the poolside bar had great food and drinks. We borrowed bicycles from the resort to explore around the area on the well maintained bicycle paths that are all around the area. Thank you so much for all the effort put into making the conference a success.

We worked with Kayla for most of the process and she became family to us. Although she was about to give birth, she wanted to make sure that she didn't miss our day. She responded to our emails very promptly and was very clear in her communication. The tasting was a blast and we were able to customize things so that it was exactly what we wanted. We have people that have severe allergies and they were very considerate of this. Specifically, one of our guest has Celiac Disease and will get really sick from gluten. Usually she has to have salad with vinegar and not really enjoy eating. Somehow, they were able to make the chicken meal completely gluten free (even to the cooking style) and she was so excited to be able to eat the same as everyone and it was the first good meal she had eaten in a while. Overall, our guests still claim that the food was the best they have ever had (including food outside of wedding food). The resort is so beautiful and unique and was perfect for our guests that were mainly out of town. We worked with Selma as our catering organizer for the day and she made sure the food was out (and still warm) while making sure that the bride and groom had drinks. Our bartender was a hoot and our guests couldn't stop talking about how great he was and the drinks. The cake was through the venue and they did better than the picture we sent them and the florist is the sweetest woman in the world and our flowers are still beautiful weeks later. They were even able to squeeze us in this beautiful presidential suite which made the getting ready process so much fun and the night even more special. By having everything there, it made coordinating so flawless and reduced a ton of stress. I am so happy that we used this venue and can't recommend it enough. Make sure to add it to your list to check out and you will love it too.

Reserved a poolside room for a girls weekend with my daughter for my birthday present. Upon arrival I was told they oversold the poolside rooms and I was the lucky recipient of a downgrade. They put me in a room with a view of the pool and told me they would adjust the price, of course you have to do that, and as compensation for my disappointment I was given $50 credit at their restaurant. Big deal! I would have rather had the poolside room with Adirondack chairs. Next time I'll try a different resort.

Great place to stay while visiting the Scottsdale area. Conveniently located and minutes away from old town Scottsdale. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The outdoor lounge area near the pool and up front was great place to relax. The rooms are nice & accommodating. Bonus: Kitchen West is located near the lobby and serves a great Smoked Brisket Burger!

Beautiful hotel. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Haven't had an opportunity to eat at the restaurant but love the decor. Parking is quite plentiful and easy to get to your room. The pool is amazing. At night it's all lit up and gorgeous.

Beautiful resort. The entire staff was accommodating. The rooms were beautiful. The food was far and away better than any hotel food I have had in a long time. The best all the way around
