If I could do hero stars it would be donePretty bad hotel, worst one we ever have stayed at, our TV has no remote remote don't work and is broken, bathroom wasn't clean and had hair all over it sheets had hair on them and previous people's things left in room. Door was open 2 times when we had left for food and a store. We came back both times and didn't use the key to get in door just opened by pushing one time the door was already wide open. Pretty sure the door lock is broke because it won't lock. Called to get a different room and we would of had to go up another floor not to mention pack up all of our things and move them again, ridiculous we are just staying put and not leaving again until the morning WILL NEVER USE ANOTHER HOTEL BY DAYS INN ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS WHAT WE HAVE TO STAY IN FOR 75$ A NIGHT!!!
You can tell they remodeled the lobby recently, but not anything else. The room smelled like it had been a smoking room at some point. There was a mini fridge, but it was so loud that we unplugged it. The continental breakfast was really minimal. The people at the front desk were nice, but when we checked in they gave us the wrong directions on where to park so we ended up walking all the way around to the other side of the hotel with our luggage. It wasn't actually dirty though, so it could have been worse.
Hotel was clean enough and free breakfast, with an indoor pool. Front desk clerks were very polite. Night check in clerk kept the pool open a few minutes later for us, and checkout clerk was sweet with her Tennessee accent. Also great scenery here.
Very hospitable, nice lady, Caroline working the front desk. Room was very clean, we'll stocked with soft towels. Comfy beds, plushy pillows, and a cute hand written note welcoming us. Beautiful view of the mountains from our room! Fantastic continentail breakfast! We loved it and will be back again!
This was a great hotel for the price. Our room was clean, cozy, and quiet. The shower also had good pressure. The breakfast was the standard cereal, yogurt, and waffle. I deducted 1 star because the vending machines are over priced, and the pool was very small.
The staff was nice and super helpful. The pool was small, but it was big enough for everybody to have a good time. For the price, everything was great.
Front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, rates were reasonable for the area. We were evacuating from hurricane Irma and they worked with us as we were traveling with a pet. Room was clean and comfortable. The pool is small, and the TV reception was a little spotty. The initial room we were in had an AC that way not quite up to the job but after we switched rooms it was much better. Location is decent, close to Rick City and Ruby falls and not far from downtown Chattanooga.
The location of this hotel was perfect for our purpose - to visit Lookout Mountain as we were passing through the area. It was very close. The room could have used some attention - our box of tissues was completely empty, the bathroom sink took forever to drain, the bedspread had a burn hole in it even though the hotel is supposed to be all non-smoking, and there was some sticky and black (maybe really old gum?) on the carpet - but overall it seemed clean enough and the front desk people were very friendly. I'm not sure I'd stay here again because of the issues listed, but it was fine for the one night we were there.
This could be a pretty nice hotel but the cleaning crew sucks! There was black residue on our feet from the carpets and most corners had cobwebs and dirt. If I were the manager I would fire the cleaning crew and then I could give this place a great rating!
Fun location. It was a nice place. There was no extra toilet paper when we got there and the roll was almost gone so we ran out. The prices were good though.
Great access to the mountains and the city. Room was neat. Beds firm. Floor of room will turn white socks black in no time at all. Big flat screen TV, nice size frig and good microwave. I liked it here. Indoor pool too.
The staff was friendly and i appreciate the hotel having pet friendly atmosphere. The room had dust and cobwebs. The breakfast sucks.!!!! I want a hot breakfast in the morning and i am not talking about toast. Word to the wise ( Mister Owner) you have a Waffle House next door you should have a contract with them to make your breakfast for the hotel especially when i have to pay $98. If you want me to go to Waffle House for breakfast charge me $50. Instead. For the money I should have went somewhere else.
Best feature of this hotel would be the staff. They're always friendly and helpful no matter what time of day it is. Rooms were clean with good size TV, nice fridge and microwave. Beds were comfy and family slept very well. Rooms seemed to be well insulated since we heard very little noise. Continental breakfast is ok. Would have been nice to have some pastries but even so the selection of food items was decent for this type of breakfast. It included oatmeal, two types of cereal, some bread, orange and apple juice, milk and coffee. The staff even made a special trip to the store to get my son some more cereal when they ran out. The only con I found at this hotel would be housekeeping. Be sure to put your deadbolt on otherwise they'll walk in regardless of the "do not disturb" sign is out. Good value tho. Best of the economy hotels.
