Clean and beautiful room. Starbucks is accessible from both the lobby and 14th street, I think. It could be 'K' street. People of all ages were checking in on a Tuesday evening. Very friendly staff. Parking garage is found under the Washington Post building - 3/4 block walk. $28 is the charge for 24 hours.

Beautiful room in a beautiful city. Everything was clean and orderly. Was a bit hard navigating the elevator as you had to hit the down button to go anywhere. The lobby was gorgeous and the staff were wonderful. Didn't know about the hold to be put on my bank account, but it worked out fine.

Great stay! The front desk staff was amazing and answered all the questions we had! Our room was great and the robe and slippers were the comfiest things ever!! We left for the day and by the time we got back our room was so clean and spotless and I appreciated that so much! I would recommend this place to anyone staying in D.C.

The hotel is beautiful and only a block from the Metro. Wifi included was helpful. Good service. My only comments for improvement were the elevators were slow and/or not all running. And, they were replacing the TVs and chose to enter my room to do this before I checked out I think that's weird.

It was pretty terrible to be fair. Mix up with the rooms so 3 of us had to stay in a tiny room. We booked online, rang to confirm and then rang again before setting off. We originally booked for a 3 person room with an accessible bathroom for my mum. Despite the constant checking, on arrival we were told that these rooms don't exist. I ended up on a mattress on the floor. I was bit all over by bed bugs which made my 2 day stay in Washington uncomfortable.
The concierge, the waiters in the restaurant, the bell hop and the doormen were really helpful. They were fantastic so not all bad. We paid a lot to be close to everything because my mother was in a wheelchair but my mother ended up feeling like a burden because we had to go into a tiny room. There was hardly any space to move the wheelchair round. So yeah bad experience but I know I'm probably in the very small minority. The hotel is gorgeous.

My time at The Hamilton was pleasant. I stayed there for approximately three days while in town for business. The staff is great, the room met the needs and the bar\restaurant was phenomenal. I had a great steak dinner and a few amazing Old Fashions while in town. I would recommend it without issue.

The staff is incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. The Art Deco theme is stunning and is consistent throughout every space. Room service was timely and elegant and the food was excellent! The location couldn't be better - walking distance to an abundance of restaurants, the Convention Center, and minutes from downtown attractions. I highly recommend The Hamilton!

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

I did not stay here, but my daughter did. She left behind some of her belongings in the closet and didn't notice until 2 weeks later. Upon calling I spoke with a William, Manager over the lost and found. I honestly did not think we would get our items back, but was wonderfully surprised when he told me that he had them. WOW! So very impressed with the honesty of this hotel!! William was super nice, and very willing to help me. So professional !! I hope that he is rewarded for being great at his job.
To, William should he ever read this~~ We here in Louisiana think your AWESOME and we give you 10********** 's :))

Took my Aunt, Grandmother, and wife to their mothers day brunch. The seating was not very well thought out. There were only two options for breakfast and it was suppose to be brunch. They had more dinner dishes than lunch dishes. I'm never going back there for brunch. The hospitality made up for a lot but we like you eat and the food part let me down.

Very nice room and exceptionally nice service. Staff was very eager to help! They were even very nice about 3 raucous young kids. Great place will stay again.

It was somewhat difficult to pull up to the front of the hotel for valet service during rush hour, being that I couldn't turn left onto the street the hotel is located on. That is the only complaint I had about my stay. The staff of the hotel we're very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable, and everything about my stay was great!

This hotel was fine. Clean and reliable. However I couldn't get anyone to tell me where the fitness center was, there was no information in the room about the hotel or the area (aside from their own dining menu). It seems a little old and dated, but everything was fine overall. No actual issues, but I"m not giving them a raving review either.
Location is great! Seems to be halfway between the mall and the convention center and one block from a Metro station (McPherson).

This hotel has everything going for it. Historic, Great Location, beautiful lobby, well designed room However, there is a serious lack of maintenance/housekeeping at this hotel (like many other Crowne Plazas). While the rooms were really well designed, they are not being maintained. We had two rooms and the lampshades in both room were cracked on the inside, kinda like a cheap motel. High quality hotels replace their lampshades as they show any sign on damage. One of the switches on our lamps broke and we actually had to pull out the bed to get it to turn off. The bathroom is small and well laid out. However, any sign of black mildew is a no go for me because it shows a lack of proper cleaning after each quest. All of the baseboards were dirty, like they have never been wiped down. The roman shades look nice until you put them down and you can tell they have never been cleaned (in one room the shade was broken and could not be pulled back up). Just about every surface in the room had a layer of dust on it. I did record and provided a list of concerns to the front desk after my first night and they attempted to clean the rooms without much success. As a Spire member with 2 rooms for 3 nights over New Years and a list of complaints, I received no feedback from a property manager. Also, avoid Happy Hour. They charged us $10 for chips and "homemade" salsa. The salsa was clearly out of a jar, like Pace. When I returned it, I could see/hear the waitress and hostess speaking negatively about us and why we would return something.
