Clean, well-appointed room; courteous staff and good breakfast. Not a bad walk from McPherson Metro stop, either.

Solid breakfast with good suites. The suites have a reasonable separation between bedroom and the rest. The mini kitchen would get you by for awhile. But the socials and breakfast are pretty good!

Came from Florida with San Pedro Catholic Church for March4Life. Best hotel ever! Had excellent customer service and friendly staff. Delicious food too! Very luxurious and was not expecting that for that low of a price!

Is an older hotel, but very nice fit a few day stay. Enjoyed the breakfast, there's a wide variety of options. Location is also very nice in proximity to a lot of things or a short cab ride away from the rest of the city

3 NZ visitors, stayed for 3 nights. Absolutely first class accommodation. Room was lovely and spacious; excellent facilities; lovely and helpful staff; first class breakfast; great shuttle service to union Station. Would DEF love to stay here again. :)

My stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington was overall very pleasing. The only issue we had during the stay was the valet parking. The valet driver in no way assured us of the safety of our vehicle and our possessions inside. It was safe, though he drove rather erratically. The rooms and service were great otherwise. Pleasant stay.

Very friendly staff in a great location. Was disappointed to find parking is 50 dollars a night. That is steep even for the city. Street parking is very confusing even when analysing the signs. Dc is notorious for shady parking practices. So much so the hotel would not confirm my parking directly in front of tje building. So do your due diligence. Breakfast is great here and included! Rooms are spacious and clean.

We stayed there May 26-30, 2017. The room was clean, and the staff was ok. The AC is terrible. I am not sure how they have it working, because there is a thermostat in the room, that says 68. There was no way the room was 68--it was more like 74 or 75. The lobby was nice ad cool, but the hallways were hot and stuffy. This may be okay for some, but I have asthma. At night they seem to adjust it from a central location (?) to be a higher temp, because we were so hot during the night, and we even took a fan to help circulate the air. There is no way the thermostat in the room controls the temperature, otherwise it would not have been so hot. We called Maintenance, and he came up to check it, only to treat us like we were stupid, and told us it is working fine, which I let him know, IT IS NOT!! The pillows are terrible, feather pillows, that go flat as soon as you lay on them, and very hot. We are Silver Honors Members, and we were not even greeted as that. No water at check in, and their bottles of water are 3.50 each. The 3 days we were there, every time we went down stairs, someone was there complaining about something. This was our second stay there, as we come up to DC often to see the Rolling Thunder. We will most likely not stay there again, as we were both disappointed with the place.

Room is good but service is not up to the price. People at front desk talked to you lie you are homeless and ask them for free place to sleep. Then I forgot stainless steel Starbucks cup and bottle there and identified them 2 hrs after checked out. They put me on hold for 30 minutes with no result. Then said will call me back of course they didn't.

Friendly staff and convenient locatioin - walking distance to mall and sights. Great complimentary daily breakfast buffet and weekday receptions (happy hours). Comfortable and well designed room with extra living room and full kitchen.

Above and beyond all excellent service!! My best hotel experience in Rochester and I have stayed at several various hotels there.
Visiting with a family member who was receiving medical treatment at the Mayo clinic I was not my usual organized self and I left some clothes in the room. At first I thought the clothes were at the cleaners--they weren't. I thought perhaps I might've left them at another home--I didn't.
Finally I remembered where I had last worn them and called Homewood weeks after my stay. Within the hour they located my items and let me know that they would take care of shipping them to me. I did receive them just two days later by federal express. I cannot. They even included a couple items I didn't realize I left there.
My first choice hotel in Rochester come through once again.response / report this review
