When we arrived, we had to wait in line to check in. There were three staff members at desks, one of which was clearly there for little more than decorum. Everything seemed dated and not as advertised. Shortly after arrival my fiancé and I noticed a drone hovering only inches from our window just after showering. We identified the man in the parking lot with the remote. I immediately went down and confronted him. When we informed the front desk they did address him as well. However, he was a guest as well and was allowed to stay with no repercussions.
We then ordered room service, “always read the fine print”. In small writing on the bottom of the menu it says that a 20% gratuity is included. However, somewhat misleadingly the bill includes a line for a tip. We included another 20% and were not informed by the waitress that the tip was already included.
Their hot tub has been turned into a planter I’m serious.
I stay at resorts very frequently. This place shouldn’t be allowed to advertise as a 4 star. Not even close.
    UNIMPRESSED!!!

The hotel ifself was fine. The bar downstairs has a very friendly and congenial bartender. My only complaint with this hotel is how long everything takes. The elevator is the slowest elevator I've ever seen. I stayed on the fourth floor, and I had to wait a solid 10 minutes for the elevator on the morning I checked out. Once I finally got downstairs I had to wait another 20 minutes for the parking attendant to return to the desk so I could ask him to retrieve my car. I can understand a wait if it's busy, but there wasn't a line, there just wasn't an attendant. Overall, the hotel was fine, but seems like it may need some maintenance. The staff was very friendly, as well.

Very nice and clean hotel. The downtown market area is bustling with people and energy and is within walking distance. We took a small weekend trip to Knoxville and couldnt have been happier. We will definitely return. We had a small issue with key not opening the door and after several attempts Harry a nice maintenance man was more than accommodating. Since the door needed working on we were upgraded to an executive floor king room for free. This was a nice addition and showed that they cared about their customers. Thanks again Crowne Plaza, we certainly enjoyed our stay.

Crowne Plaza Knoxville is situated on Summit Hill within a block of Market Square and just a couple of blocks from the Old City. It's very convenient to some of the city's best dining, shopping, and social scenes. The executive level rooms are in good shape and the lounge offerings are nice. I would stay here again and I recommend it for meetings, a night away or special event.

This hotel has three big things going for it. (1) Great location. It's literally one block from the revived Market Square. No need to drive, just walk straight across the street and you're there. (2) This is such a nice hotel. Everything screams "quality" and you feel like it's really a nice place to be. It was recently renovated and it still looks like new. (3) The people. The staff is extremely helpful and nice, and the hotel attracts a nice group of people willing to sit in the lobby on the weekend and talk with you.

I'll note that the ceiling is still popcorn, the parking is very limited, and the walls are thinner than some newer buildings, but these aren't worth losing a star. I'd rather stay here than anywhere else in Knoxville because of the reasons above, and regardless, Market Street Garage is right across the street.

Great location with walking access to local restaurants and sight seeing. Close to local downtown businesses. Covered, gated parking. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced room service food.

From arriving to leaving, our experience/visit was awesome. Valet, Registration and Restaurant staff were friendly, polite and made us feel welcome. One of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. This was our first time staying at a Crowne Plaza and we definitely plan on staying again. Can not say enough good things about the staff of the Knoxville Crowne Plaza.

This was a very nice and accommodating hotel. We stayed on the top floor, had a beautiful sunset city view, woke up to a cart of Starbucks, juice, and fresh fruit. The staff were all very very nice to us. Their restaurant was excellent. The close proximity to market Square was an added bonus. Definitely will be staying here again

Crowne Plaza in Knoxville islocated next to the Smoky Mountains, giving an amazing view for guests. The hotel's rooms are very wide, with beds for four, a bathroom with glass sides, and a wide TV. The service is spectacular. They clean every part of the hotel so walking in feels comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay.

Excellent service. Very good food. Wonderful amenities. Somewhat lumpy beds. I'm a bit used to the memory foam bed I have at home and wish more hotels had similar beds.

My wife and I were in town for a wedding and we both really enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nice. The TV had plenty of cable channels and free HBO. Room service had good food and it got to us quick. The bar mixed quality drinks and was reasonably priced. The gym had all the equipment that I wanted and more. I highly recommend staying here.

An excellent hotel with amazing staff. Everyone was very helpful, information packed, and cheerful. The hotel is perfectly located with easy access to everything - our room looked into market square. The rooms were spotless, the lobby beautiful, and breakfast was perfect. The fitness facility is very nice. If we are ever in the area again, this is where we will be staying!
