We where received by a great guy, I think his name was Chris. He understood the kind of vacationers we were and hooked us up with an appropriate package. They had coffee and donuts for us. Booking with them has been quick and easy. We love the membership we bought from them.

The room was very nice and cozy. It was awesome to be close enough to walk to the strip whenever we wanted. Overall it was a wonderful stay/ trip.

The walls are paper thin - the neighbors were old and had their tv blasting, most likely feel a sleep and just left it on all night so I couldn't sleep well. Really needed a good night sleep since a group of us were going for a long hike the next day. That morning the other neighbors were getting intimate and I could hear everything they were saying to each other including a safe word - more than what I needed to hear. The location is great but I can't say I'll ever stay there again unless they do some overhaul constriction.

Not worth the money we paid. The pictures are very misleading. Upon arrival the lobby gave us hope; it was well maintained and beautifully decorated. However, once we started up the hill we began to get worried. This is a motel, doors outside (doesn't bother us, but we weren't aware of this). The room is a similar to a motel 6 room. Small and decorated in the 70s. It appeared to have been smoked in years ago. Beds were not comfortable and bedding smelled as if it had not been changed. The mirror has a mystery splatter. The T.V was missing the power button. The phone was missing most of its buttons. The coffee maker was missing a piece to make it work. There is no continental breakfast, it is all you can it at $12 each for adults and lower prices for kids. We looked at it and it was not worth the price. The grounds (besides near the lobby) were not clean.
The staff at check in and check out were very friendly. Everyone staying near us was very friendly. We did not complain about the room, because it was the entire room not just one issue. We knew we would not be refunded and if on the off chance we were refunded it was a busy weekend so there was little chance we could get somewhere better at last minute. We have actually never had luck with hotels in Gatlinburg. This time we paid more for the room in hopes that we would have a better experience. We will just rent a cabin or camp from now on.

Old hotel. Right on the river which was nice and good mountain view. Close to trolley station, convenient. We stayed on the 3rd floor, not elevator lots of steps. Restaurant on premises is good but doesn't open until 8 a.m. and we are early risers. All the staff was friendly.

No continental breakfast. Beds are hard as rocks, so bring extra pillows. Convenience to everything was this place's saving grace. The river is nice if you're riverfront. Do not expect to check in before 4:00, but they will let you go ahead and park.

Paid 176$ for one nights stay, no premium cable no continental breakfast or anything, even a pack of crackers would be nice. I'm sorry but ive stayed at flea bag motels that offer more amenities than this turd hole. For the money they charge they should offer a hot breakfast. There is a mini fridge for your own food you purchase elsewhere and a microwave that might heat a bowl of soup in as little as 15 minutes. I will absolutely never stay here again nor will I recommend it to anyone else. In conclusion if you want a good room don't stop here unless you enjoy flushing your money down the toilet. Also they have two pools but one is being remodeled and the other is filled with duck feces!

Derrick is AWESOME!! He was extremely helpful and very patient with me. I was in a panic because I could not get through the main line for a week due to HURRICANE IRMA. I had other plans that changed at the last minute and needed a room immediately. He calmed me downed & was very polite. Thank you again Derrick!!!

The hotel is in the best location in the Smokies and Foothills area. Walk to everything and easy out to Pigeon Forge. Nice views and comfy beds.
The staff is SUPER nice and the GM Valerie Devarso does a great job of keeping her staff top notch.
We look forward to staying again.

We visited as guests in a business room with my company. The room we stayed in was clean and the service was impeccable considering the holiday business. Very impressed. Will be hosting next event there.

When we first got to our room it was very very old and out dated. We were not happy. We complained and switched rooms it was worse than the first so nasty and air did not work neither did the litlle fridge we complained again wanted our money back they said call corporate i did they said call front desk. We were so mad the maintenance man that was trying to fix our room problems helped us get in a little bit better room. He helped is more than the front desk. They gave us 1 roll of toilet paper for 4 people for 4 days then asked us to sign for another roll ridiculous. Very very out dated and you need to hire better front desk people that want to help your guest. For it to have the west gate logo around this place it is very misleading. We have stayed at west gate in Gatlinburg and its wonderful. River terrace could be a very nice place if it got completely remodeled. Til then we will never be back!

Rooms were not well designed. Dark during the night with little ways to make it brighter. The sink wouldn't drain, the ice machine nearest my room didn't work. No gym. Simple for a family outing but I expect more from a "resort."

The location is excellent! We were right next to the Ripleys aquarium and other attractions were less than a block away. The room was fine, although the bed was a little hard and we had to get extra pillows and towels from the front desk. Everyone was incredibly friendly. I would definitely consider staying here again.
