We only stayed overnight on our way from Florida to Indy and our stay was great!! The valet taking our car was super nice, the young ladies at the front desk were so pleasant and my hubby had a great conversation with them. The concierge greeted us and we talked a bit. We ate at the restaurant and it was delicious and we had good service. We loved the room, nice mattress and the pillows were perfection!! Coffee in the room was a bonus and the TV had a nice clear picture. They put us on the 15th floor so we had a beautiful view of the area and Atlanta in the background. In the morning the valet who brought the car was efficient and very nice. We definitely will consider staying here again, maybe on another anniversary as this was our 3rd wedding anniversary. Kudos to y'all!!
Unfortunately this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at . When I stayed there last March, I had a roach in my room. Someone came to spray and said they got rid of it but it came right back or there was another one. It was too late at night to go to another room because my daughter was asleep and had a competition the next day that she had to be up early for. They only gave me a 50% discount on the first night which really wasn't reasonable in my opinion. Than I had rented a car for the trip and after we came back from the movies on Sunday night I left my car in-front of the hotel because there was no valet for at-least 10 minutes. I went to the front desk and they told me to leave the keys with them and they would have someone take care of it. When we went downstairs the following morning the car was sitting in front of the hotel and it was never moved!! Than my friend waiting until about 7pm to get her room cleaning after requesting it multiple times throughout the day. Lastly when we spoke with someone at the front desk they said most of the employees are from temp services so they really don't care about what they are doing. I'm suppose to go there for the same event this year but I'm thinking about just staying at another hotel because I don't think I can go thru that again. It will be a big inconvenience for me but I don't think I can stay there again.
We hosted a bridal shower at the Crowne Plaza's Bistro 55 restaurant yesterday, and the service was topnotch from start to finish! Ms. Sandi and her staff are the best. Ask for the cabana!
We had a 2day stay. Plumbing issue, staff addressed but left the wet carpet. I called to FD to inform, was told they'd send a fan-- not to dry up toilet water/urine!!! This started around 5-6am. They moved us but by that time we had to repack to move to another room. It was an upgrade but the hassle was in packing all our stuff at that hour to pack it up again the next day to go home. The place could use an update, which they are in the process of. Preferred a comp night over an upgrade in our case.
My husband and I 3rd time staying here. We love it! We always get the corner room because they are very very spacious. We stayed this weekend and everything was lovely and customer service is excellent, they treat you like the king and queen that you are. The only thing I don't like is no microwaves in the room, and balcony doors locked so we were not able to open the door. So for those reasons I have to say 4 stars. I would stay here everytime we have our get aways. Free breakfast buffet, and bar vouchers for free glass of wine or beer due to IHG members. Everything is lovely. I highly recommend this hotel
Stayed here due to proximity to our training location, however would've been worth dealing with traffic to stay at a decent hotel. Upon arrival my refrigerator was warm, sent an engineer up to fix it. Then the air wasn't working, their fix was to screw the curtain into the wall so it was obstructing the vent, the moldy vent. This caused the floor to become soaking wet from the failing a/c, which after looking further appeared to have been a recurring problem as there was mold on the wall and bed. Bathroom was too small for door to open without scratching the toilet and housekeeping completely rearranged my belongs. Also, there was a burn from an iron in the carpet floor. I was 'upgraded' from a standard king to a double corner room where the refrigerator was warm again. Oh and I had a little friend, a large silverfish, awaiting me in my tub, thankfully on our last morning. My colleague's room had to be changed 4 times due to a/c issues, musty room giving her a headache and then in her final room, on the hypoallergenic floor, had mold on the table and a/c vent. Overall made for a terrible week and impacted our training session as we were too busy moving rooms/dealing with concerns to get any rest.
It's sad because the lobby is beautiful and the hotel has serious potential, but it's obvious as soon as you get off the elevator no resources are provided to the rooms.
I recently stayed at this hotel and left two items in the room I also prepaid for my stay. After leaving the hotel 2 days later I check my bank statement to fins out I had been charged 160.08. I have called 7 days straight about the lost items and thw charge on my card and NO ONE absolutely NO ONE has returned my call. The receptionist sees that the money was charged she doesnt know why and then sees that my rooms were already paid for. The last time I called I was told that there is a note saying the money needs ro be refunded but promised me the manager would call to speak with me and get rhe issues resolved. Everyone takes notes about the items and states that the housekeeping manager will contact me that never happened. Also, I have left voicemails with the manager of the hotel, accounting, several receptionists which one whose name was Ricky was very rude and no help at all. It's sad that such a nice looking hotel can deliver not so nice customer service and not be concerned with returning funds that's not there's. I will not be staying here again.
Staff are absolutely lovely howeve the general attention to detail is lacking. Everyday I had different items missing from the room cleaning such as no laundry bag, not replenishing towels and so on. Indicates lack of systems and training in place. Appears to be some renovation in progress which is seriously needed including the retro style of the 1970's designed elevators and decor in the rooms. Not the normal Crown Plaza property I am an used to in Asia. Perhaps this brand in the US is more akin to Holiday Inn than Hilton or Sheridan. The property itself is well designed with exceptional outlook however it is the management system and lack of renovation that lets it down.
This was my first time at this hotel and I must say I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was really nice and kind. The room was clean and big. The only thing I didn't like was the price for the breakfast buffet the price was too high $20 I didnt care for that but over all I enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will be back.
This is a beautiful facility but my weekend was a disaster because I had my 4 kids with me for our family reunion and where do I start From the arrival to the departure. The valet does not assist you and will just look at you as you struggle to get your bags out, I try to check in after calling confirming my reservation and the attendant stated that I needed a card and I had to pay for incidental fees that was not posted on the website, then after getting that all together my room 931 had no microwave but a few electrical problems, pool suppose to be 24 hour but it was OUT OF ORDER but the room was beautiful inspite of. The very next morning then all chaos kicks in.I wake up to take a shower and there's no water so I go down stairs and speaks with the manager who decided to raise her voice so I asked her to bring it down a notch but I eventually walked away and had to go find a Kroger or Walmart to buy water because I had an event coming up at 9am to give them time to fix the problem I return around 5pm to discover a worst problem not only no water but now no air, at this point I'm devastated. I call down stairs and I was told it will be fixed in about an hour. One hour turn into two. But who comes to my rescue Ms. Monique another manager and she was awesome she made me a promise and out of all the people that was there she held her word with me. With that being said just because of great management skills that she performed this weekend, I will return again. Thank you thank you Monique from the islands you are the best. Rejuvenated, refreshed and yet very pleased.
I wish I could post pictures. For a beautiful hotel I should not have to remove the top blanket. I swear it looks like a makeup party happened in my room. But the concierge and tha restaurant/bar staff deserve 10 out of 5 stars. This staff makes the hotel. Its a shame as I am a proud employee of a IHG property and this lobby and grounds are to die for. But the rooms are a shame to the rest of the hotel. I will do a post on my room.
First of all i would like to say is this far most the most beautiful hotel that i know of and i'm so glad that it was a mix up with my other booking otherwise i wouldn't found this place.I came in this wkend for a girl getaway n you guys showed us nothing but love from the staff to our hotel accomodations i loved it!!!cant can't wait to visit again
It's a beautiful place. The staff was terrible. Had to pay for my breakfast after already paying when I got the room because they couldn't be inconvenienced to look in the computers. Said they had a hot tub before I booked, they lied. Started off the experience by getting our room and walking in to find it was already occupied. Thank God they weren't there or anything could have happened! Pool was DISGUSTING with tons of hair and garbage in it. Breakfast was ordered at the Bistro 55. Horrible, over cooked, over priced food. Basically paid $40 for two crappy cups of coffee because we couldn't even eat the garbage they served. The only reason I didn't give a one star rating is because the place is truly gorgeous and has tons of potential. They just need an all new staff that actually cares about doing their jobs appropriately. Will not be back. Would much rather stay at a La Quinta over this place.
I thought the hotel was very nice! Everyone was very friendly, especially the Front Desk Clerk! I believe her name was Kirsten, she deserves a raise and an award! She made my stay the most comfortable and my experience excellent! The room was clean and also elegant! I usually don't stay at such an "expensive type" of place but it was well worth it! Next time I'm in Atlanta I will be back! Thank you Kirsten!
Beautiful hotel but they accidentally deposited 1788 in my account then reversed the transaction and took forever to remove to hold on my bank account. When I called to speak with corporate acted as if it happened all the time and it would take 48hrs for someone to contact me.
When I called the hotel directly they rerouted to the accounting department which of course went to voicemail. Then the front desk would no longer answer my calls.
Sad that a beautiful hotel has such horrible service.
And I had to switch room be ausr there was ants in one of the beds!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lovely hotel with beautiful walking trails and an almost jungle feel. You’d never know it’s across the street from a large mall, very convenient for shopping with my teenage daughter, but a long want both from downtown Atlanta and the airport. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed our meals.
Stayed here hot the last few years and it has gone down hill. Workout equipment is old and really needs to be replaced. Also WiFi doesn’t work well. For $185/night I expect more. I’m a IHG platinum traveler and I think I may have to switch back to Hilton.
The lobby is incredible including the outside that has bridges and beautiful gardens.
The dining/bar area had several TVs and power outlets I really like that.
Parts of the hotel shows some age but the room we had had beautiful carpet and the amenities were pretty up to date.
This hotel is beautiful but their inability to control the noise of corporate functions/parties into late hours of the night had made for a terrible stay. Management had no other alternative than to try to bribe me with free drinks from the bar which I declined. I will not be returning.
This Holiday Inn is gorgeous! Lush tropical flora & fauna in the atrium lobby as well as water features. Outside area is a lush garden with lovely sitting areas water features & fire pits, excellent to enjoy a drink before bed. Great breakfadt buffet. The rooms are clean, comfortable & nicely appointed. We will stay nowhere else when in the area.
