After needing time for a replacment debit card,The General Manager here trespassed me , refused to rent me a room all based on my appearance and the fact that I was tried to reserve the room without a debit/credit card. A Discrimination lawsuit will follow. Poor Management. And subordinates followed there lead and treated me with disrespect. Highly suggest avoiding this place and finding better more quality hotels in the same area.

Marriott is my preferred Hotel chain and they are almost always very good. I appreciated that they were one of the first places to go non-smoking. This particular location is described as "no smoking in all public areas". When I let the front desk know that there were at least 3 ash trays in the pool area she said that should not happen, that they should only smoke in the designated area in the courtyard next to the pool what happened to the policy of no smoking in public areas? Marriott can do much better.

Great location at the north end of Phoenix, closer to tourist spots like Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Friendly staff and nice amenities like a hot tub / pool and small bit sufficient fitness room.

The location was really good, easy to get to and right by a large shopping complex. It made finding food and shops very easy! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful recommending things to eat and do in the area. I had a great time!

Checked in internet evening and the front desk employee was nowhere to be found. After a while of waiting and finally calling out, 'hello?' he emerged. My status with Marriott affords me complimentary upgrades at check in, yet even though rooms were available, the desk attendant dismissed my request, chuckling to himself,' haha, no sorry.' Even if you don't know the rule, you should at least be kind to a guest with a question.

Attended a meeting in the Courtyard conference room. Nice facility, easy access and very helpful staff. I would definitely consider this facility for future meetings.

I was only here for a meeting in the conference room Camelback 2. Lobby there is very nice and welcoming. They even have their own coffee shop inside the hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel as an overnight guest. Very classy hotel.

Used to be decent hotel till last stay last week. We had small teddy bear toy with us in hotel room - souvenir from our trip to Yellowstone. We did not find the bear the day before check out after housekeeping service. We went to a reception and reported this, thinking it was coincidence and could be hidden in bed sheets or such. They were trying to find it and next morning came up with another bear. But it was different one - seems like they thought they will satisfy us with some bear. They did not find it at all in the end, not sure if they had been even trying to.
All that means that we lost confidence that it is secure when something can get stolen from room there, no matter if teddy bear or anything else from my stuff.response / report this review -

Very clean rooms!!! The pool was great!!! Was disappointed they didn't have a continental breakfast. But the rooms were very good size and clean, beds were comfortable. They didn't have microwave or hair dryers in the room. There was a microwave in the lobby we were able to use, but no hair dryer. There was also an awful sewerage smell in the parking lot. Other than that a pleasant stay.

Location is good with close proximity to many retail shops and restaurants. No problems with the room - clean and everything works. The TV is a smart TV that will let you log into your YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, etc account. Overall great experience with no issues.

Our room on the second floor was clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfy, and we all slept well. The room had a mini fridge and coffee pot. If it also included a microwave, I would have given it force stats.

not much parking close to the main (only) entrance, and the entire building smelled funny inside. halfway between a fart and bleach. that said, the staff was attentive, and the rooms and amenities were nice. If it werent claiming upscale status, it would get more stars.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything in the room works with the the exception of the toilet being a little weak. The room is a bit small but has all the basic necessities. My only real complaint is the lack of good soundproofing between rooms. I can hear my neighbors conversations like they're in the room with me and the evening gets pretty exciting for the honeymooners.

I had problems booking through a certain app.. When I got to Courtyard they had yet to recieve the info.. The nice lady at the front looked up rates and features of the nearby hotels and helped me find a room elsewhere.. Then finally when I did get to stay at Courtyard by Mariott I loved the very clean, comfortable, and modern feeling and style.. The service workers are great at their jobs..
