We liked everything about this hotel. They were remodeling so it was a bit messy but that didn't affect our room. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It's not within walking distance of any restaurants, but we found some good options nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was good with plenty of options.
Upon arrival we were greeted by jackhammering and the entire lobby covered in water, plaster and the floor being jackhammered. The woman secluded in a desperate room came to greet us outside and apologized for the construction. I just asked that we had a room that was quiet. She guaranteed it. We rolled the cart through the wet cement dust and into the dusty elevator to the third floor which was half covered in plastic to our room. I was still okay. The. We got into the bed and there was gravel between the sheets. I called down to the front desk and Thomas answered. I explained the situation and he said we could change rooms or have the sheets changed. I said I wanted the sheets changed. He said fine come down and get the sheets at the front desk. I told him I wanted to have someone come up and change the sheets. He told me he wasn’t trained to do that. He would bring them to the room. I was livid. As a Platinum Choice member I have never experienced such terrible customer service. I asked for his DM contact information. He said her name is Gina but refused to provide the number. He said I can call back on Monday morning.
I love this place && to add, I left my glasses and they made sure that I received them! Mind you, I live in Chicago! They proved that their customers are important! I really love how comfortable I was when I was there! Thomas went above and beyond for me! Their breakfast was very good too!
Location, room, beds, breakfast, staff, were all great. Only wish the rooms were a little more quiet. They were very quiet but some noise still came through and woke me up. All in all though a great comfortable stay at a great price!
The lobby was big and flashy, giving the impression that you are staying in a posh resort. The room didn't quite match up, but was still comfortable, although it could have been kept up better. The room was dated and the couch had several large tears in it. Other than that, it was a large room with plenty of space for everyone and the front desk staff were very accommodating.
Hospitality was excellent. Nice variety for free breakfast. However, the rooms need updating. The furniture was somewhat outdated. I'd recommend remodeling the rooms for a modern look and style.
The room was nice and the service was ok
Desk clerk, Leo, was extremely nice. Room was clean. Adequate complimentary breakfast. Unfortunately the hotel shuttle driver showed up an hour and fifteen minutes late for his shift. After 2 flight delays in Philly, arriving 4 hours later than originally scheduled, I was forced to wait at the Phoenix airport until he showed up. Very disappointing. Would have given 4 stars.
The A/C in our room could have been cooler but in all fairness it was a hot summer day in Phoenix, 120F. It was clean, comfy and nice breakfast. Friendly staff and good location with quick access to I-10.
Comfort Suites Airport Tempe, Az. I only give this Hotel a 2 Star. The Air Conditioning here does not work well at all. The units are very old and in my eyes need to be replaced. The 3rd floor is an oven, the air does not blow hard and it only blows cool. If you turn it down to make it colder, it blows warm. On the brighter side, they have a pool, a gym and free breakfast. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The A/C works a little better on the first floor. This is the ultimate hotel for people that are always cold.
What a pleasant surprise. Front desk greeted us with a smile. Room was clean, shower was great. Amazing for the price. Highly recommend.
Nice hotel. Good breakfast. Decent fitness center. Only complaint is that all the pillows were way too large
The simplest thing!!! I just wanted the stupid TV to work.. Is that to much to ask for? Called the front desk twice and all they could say is unplug it for 10 minutes and that they were sorry for the inconvenience. Really!! Your apology isn't going to fix the issue. They could have at least switched me rooms.
Beds were great. Very comfortable. The rooms were spacious and clean. The plumbing in the shower didn't appear to be attached though, which seems pretty common in phoenix and the location was kinda "meh" because there was no where close to walk to, which is also pretty much phoenix too. Hard to hold any faults against the hotel when the whole city was built on a freeway.
I arrived early and the front desk took my name and number and called me when my room was ready. The room is very clean and comfy - great service attitude! The place was easy to find after picking up my rental car.
