This facility was obviously in the middle of a remodel when we stopped. Aside from the construction workers disarray that the hotel cannot control, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was well executed. When the remodel is complete, this should be a great place.

Hotel is under renovations, so the floors, trim, some walls are being painted and some rooms are being worked on and some minor details are not complete yet, but when it is done it will look nice. Saw the fitness area and pool is still in need of renovations. Due to renovations, hotel offered room for discounted 76.50 for one night in a king room during a week night. Staff are friendly and accommodating, asked for dish soap when I ran out to wash my baby's bottles and staff brought me some from their kitchen area. The free continental breakfast area is large with a variety of food and beverages. The hotel manager Harry came over to us during breakfast and presented 2 stuffed animals as a gift to my 10 month son. If you don't mind some renovations at the moment, it is a good deal.

In an ALL NONSMOKING hotel, the room reeked of smoke. One bath towel for my husband and I, I used the two hand towels to dry with. The bathroom smelled the worst, no washcloths.
The entire lobby was torn apart, there were precarious stacks of building materials right outside the front doors.
Speaking of the front doors, they were almost broken with how slow they were. No convenient outlets in the room.
The price IS NOT a bargain. Save your money and go to Red Roof Inn. They nearly always have better service, better rates, better rooms, and better staff than this place.
There is, however, one teensy tiny ray of sunshine in this dark storm cloud: Carabbas is right across the parking lot.

Lied about heated pool. Offered no help rudely. Hotel was filthy. We would have picked a better hotel had we known. We will never stay here again!

I've stayed here before and it was great, but this stay left much to be desired. The staff was very nice and helpful, but the quality of the room and the like was fairly low. The walls, doors, tub, and base boards could benefit from a good wipe down.

Stayed here Sunday evening, 9/3/17. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The towels were thick and soft. The breakfast was great with lots of variety. The coffee was very good. The staff was very friendly. We didn't use the indoor pool or exercise room but they looked great. While not a luxury hotel it was much more than adequate for our needs. I highly recommend it.

Very impressed with breakfast: scrambled eggs, grits, fresh waffles and pancakes, biscuits and gravy, juices, coffee, tea The indoor pool and hot tub seemed very clean. Room seemed clean if a little plain. When I went to the floor below us to find out where the bass heavy music was coming from, the staff had already responded and the problem stopped. Staff was courteous and helpful. Cribs were out of stock. A bit older building it seemed, but the price was about right for the King suite (bedroom separated by door from the area with pull out dis bed) we stayed in.

The room was typical (clean, average state of repair, acceptable furnishings, good bed, no bugs). There was a strong dog odor in our room, and that was unpleasant. The breakfast was really, really good, though. And on weekends they keep the breakfast open until 10:30!!! Super thumbs up. It was two walls of food, nicely prepared No green eggs here. Lots of variety. For the price we paid for the room, the breakfast was above what I expected. They didn't offer bacon strips, but there were sausage links, delicious potatoes, and all your typical breakfast items, and just about every condiment and garnish you could think of.

Awful!!! I booked and and specifically asked repeatedly for a room to fit 5 people so we needed a cot. Wesley said he would write that down. We get there and surprise 😀 they only have 2 cots and they're taken. We slept 3 girls in the king bed and dad and son on uncomfortable pull out couch. They were supposed to call us and discount us money. Never happened! They don't deserve any stars!!

When I called to book our room, the girl I talked to said to go to a visitor center and get one of those coupon books to get a better deal and they'd change the rate when I checked in. Once we got to the hotel, the people working front desk at first acted like they didn't want to, but I insisted they honor what I was told. The hotel is nice, but could use a new paint job in some areas. The WiFi is really slow and goes in and out a bit. Room service doesn't give you time to answere when they knock. They just come on in. The only really good things about this hotel is the location and the price we ended up getting. But, I'mnot sure we'll stay here again.

Pretty good hotel. I have stayed here many times while working in the area. I used to give them 5 stars, but it is getting older and could use a little work so I have them 4 stars. My last stay for example, the sink was very slow to drain and I asked for someone to come fix it while I was at work, and no one did. Also the WiFi seems to be slower recently. It is better than the other hotels in the area at this price range, I have stayed at most of them. A little work and it could be 5 stars again.
UPDATE 3/1/17:
I have lowered it another star. Everytime I go something else seems to be wrong, or broken. This time they gave me dirty linens, the room phone didn't work in one room, and also the bathtub would not drain properly in 2 different rooms.response / report this review -

Fantastic hotel for the price. Nice room, comfortable bed, full sized bathroom with lots of counter space. Indoor pool, fitness room, free breakfasteverything exceeded expectations. I don't know when I'll be spending the night in Macon again, but I know where I'll bring staying!

The people at the front desk were extremely friendly! The hotel overall was very clean. The breakfast was 5 stars for sure! Everything was hot and delicious. The rooms had a mini fridge, microwave and a flat screen tv. Overall good experience and will visit again.
