My co-worker and I have both stayed here for business meetings. Nice facility; but, don't leave anything behind in the room. You'll never see it again. Even if you call right away, they ask for 48 hours to "check on it" and you have to call back to find that your expensive coat in the closet just wasn't there. My co-worker, on a separate occasion, didn't have her make-up case returned either.

The staff is the true reason why this hotel received 5 stars from me. Very professional, articulate, and eager to help. Not one problem. I enjoyed my stay.

Georgia has become my second home this year do to business and Macon has a all to familiar sound. I had to try this nicer, newer hotel as I was worn out from the Residence Inn down the street. This Hotel is, BY FAR, the best in the area. (Warrants my 5 Circles) The staff were very friendly, concierge level was nice also, but there a few small mistakes. When housekeeping came they did not replace coffee nor did they obey the hotel policy of hanging towels. I do care about our environment and when I hang a towel I expect it NOT to be picked up like the little "ECO" signs say. Lastly, the Residence Inn & Courtyard (Been There, Done That) are in a better location for eateries. But this hotel outweighs the discomfort for bedding at the other two and it's a short 10 minute drive up riverside drive to get to that area. Excellent pool area, jacuzzi that works, and exercise room as well. Will always stay here in the future! Video on YouTube Channel Thanks for reading.

Stayed here for a work trip. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be accomodating! Our waiter at breakfast was attentive and the food was good at both the restaurant and room service. Room was clean and comfortable.

Nice rooms. Nice staff. Breakfast is expensive. $17.95 for a so-so buffet. And just a small breakfast off the menu is just as bad. Overall, it's just "ok." We stayed here because we are exciting hurricane Irma & there are just no other rooms available.

Location is great, very close to downtown Macon. If you want to check out the cool bars there, the fare for an Uber ride to the hotel is pretty cheap and worth it for saving headaches with finding parking downtown as well as not worrying about who will be the designated driver. Made a reservation over the phone, came in pretty late and checking in was easy as pie. The front desk guy was super hospitable and joked around with us. The room was just as clean as one would hope a hotel to be. Bathroom fixtures very classy, and toiletries were also quite fancy. Comfy bed. Staff whose job description didn't really pertain to customer service were also still extremely friendly without prompting. Check out at 11 am was also easy.

I stayed at this location the end of July 2017. I originally thought every room would have a microwave and mini fridgemy room didn't. I arrived on a Friday and Saturday morning as I was pulling the covers back up on the bed, I found a pair of little girls socks in my sheets. I called and reported this the morning of, Sunday upon checkout, and several days later on two occasions. Every time I asked for management, I couldn't speak with them. I left voicemail messages, etc. To this day, Friday, August 25, 2017I haven't heard from anyone about the socks that were in my sheets. I am highly disappointed. I hope the family that had the room before us realize they left their little girls socks and contact me. Attached is a picture of the socks left behind. All I can say is Marriott, you need to do better. This nasty and unacceptable and what is worse is you never tried to speak with me nor contact me back! I think you've had enough time to do that, hence here is my post. I hope you don't ever treat any other guest like this!

The rooms a relaxing spacious, clean, and quiet. The hotel staff is fantastic for information and accommodation. You're walking distance from the Macon Coliseum for concerts and shows. The area is a little dangerous so don't walk one at night but the night life downtown is worth th Uber ride.

Had plans of travelling to the hotel called to confirm the reservations, they could not find my reservation! Wow after 10 minutes on the phone my reservation is found in the computer. Was not pleased with the error the hotel made so i cancelled the reservation, and then i received attitude on the phone when i explain i would like to cancel the reservation due to the lost booking. There is lots of hotels in the area just as great to staying near by, there lost!

Great overnight option for a stop in Macon. Convenient to downtown events and shopping as well as upscale dining experiences. Popular at Cherry Blossom season so book early. Convenient to local concerts.

Nice rooms, pretty clean for the most part. Decent selection of beer at the bar. While I was here there was a movie crew filming "I, Tonya" next door. Pretty cool to get to see the set and such, and talk to the crew.

Attended the Sesame Street play/musical titled Elmo makes Music. I worked backstage. We did the load in of the equipment yesterday and two shows today. With a third show tomorrow afternoon and the load out of equipment afterwards. I had the positive impression the facility was well taken care of. In fact in my line of work, I've seen a few venues, and the Macon Marriott city center is top notched. Of course I didn't see the rooms and the security guards actually hassled the entire crew for some reason, which made us feel not very welcome. The ice rink must be fabulous to watch hockey on. And look forward to doing that some day soon. But the security guards sucked.
