It was pretty good. Clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast. I'd stay there again.

Good place :) Along with its traditional look, there is everything that is wanted including fitness centre, good breakfast(lot of option non-meat option as well) and the service

We've had a wonderful experience at this hotel, and plan on staying here again when we return to this area in 2 weeks.
The hotel has been recently renovated, and has an upscale, modern "Zen" feeling. The colors are soft/muted, all wood is dark, and furniture is streamlined and comfortable yet supportive. The king bed was excellent for comfort and support. I'm fussy about my pillow, so I can't say I was happy, but there were 4 to choose from with varying degrees of softness.
We had a king with living room, coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. It was confusing because the fridge and microwave were located in the dresser/TV stand instead of the cabinet where the coffee maker was on top.
The bathroom was well appointed and brightly lit for make-up application.
There is a large desk with work station plugs, office lamp and chair.
We did eat their complementary breakfast which had the usual choices-- cereals, eggs, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, waffles, yogurt, assorted fruits, drinks, etc. All was tasty but the scrambled eggs-- tasted powdered. The dining area was ample and clean.
Front desk personnel we're pleasant and accommodating. My only complaint/concern was that there were 3 large stains in the carpet. We weren't sure what they might be at first, but on further inspection decided it was paint spills/drips from renovation. I took pictures and showed them to the desk clerk, only so we wouldn't be assessed for any damage. She was very apologetic and offered several times to change our room. Not necessary, just make note.
All in all, we were very pleased.

Friendly staff recently remodeled. Beds are a little old / springy. But otherwise served it's purpose.

This is a really good choice for a hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean, the hotel itself is well maintained. The front staff are very helpful and welcoming. There is an exercise room and a pool, however the pool is small and outdoors. They have a really nice breakfast selection in the morning that was different every day. Oh and coffee, fresh brewed and hot 24 hours a day at the front desk. Can't beat that.

The only con in my opinion is that there is only one way in and out off of a very busy throughway so you have to make a U turn to get to the property which is sometimes impossible depending on traffic. Other than that, I just wish there was better sound dampening material in the walls. My neighbor spoke on his phone on speakerphone regularly (in addition to his attempts at singing/rapping) and I could hear every thing!

Safe area and clean. Good breakfast and worth the stay.
P.S. Take your own toiletries because our room only had men soap.

This hotel was decently priced for the area and the amenities provided. There were a few minor things. There were some mystery stains on the walls, the cupboards door that the mini fridge was in would not close all the way. The curtains were thin. The elevator makes a clicking noise which is troublesome. But the breakfast was decent. Omelets, hash browns, waffles, muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal and more. And there was a good amount of hot foods left considering I didn't get there until 40 mins before breakfast ended. The lady who checked us in was pleasant. We did not get to swim in the pool but it did look clean and inviting. The room was large and the beds were comfy. We could take books from the lobby to our room. So everything was not pristine and perfect but I would come back.

AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL! I am not sure where they get a three star hotel from what is here. also, I am not usually one for bad reviews but this hotel fits the bill. From the moment I walked inside. It is VERY DAMP AND STUFFY in the entire building. The room was like a sauna and the air conditioning unit is VERY LOUD! The entire room feels damp, from the bed and the sheets, to the floor(carpet). IT JUST FEELS WET AND THAT IS GROSS. The room is completely lit up in the middle of the night with all the lights beaming through the SHEER CURTAINS on the windows. The vending machine was SOLD OUT OF EVERY DRINK they advertised HAVING on the machine. The room is VERY SMALL for two adults and two kids(we don't all fit and there is NO ROOM for our luggage or clothing inside luggage. The bathroom was cracked up and down the walls and smells moldy. The bed is not comfortable and the location is not ideal. We will be checking out in the morning and going somewhere else. This hotel gives Carlson a BAD NAME. It stinks because I am a club Carlson Gold rewards member and now I am going to have to go somewhere that doesn't offer rewards and pay more for it. I am beyond disappointed in this hotel.
