Was a little frazzled when I arrived, so I was disappointed that no one was in the office. When I finally found someone, they pointed out a sign on the counter that directed customers to use a phone to page them. I felt really stupid even though someone had placed a blender on top of the sign. They were high powered nice during our stay. The room was ample. My only complaint is that I have been hassassed for a year so far by an auto sales call. "Emily" the devious machine uses a variety of phone numbers, most recently from my town. Annoying and creepy, I wish it would stop.

Rooms are very clean and updated. It's a simple resort with a nice pool and dock to fish off of. LOCATION IS GREAT. Walking distance to everything. Staff is very respectful and helpful. Rooms are cleaned daily at no additional charge is desired. Parking it easy. There does have two roads surrounding it but you only notice them is there's a firetruck or similiar driving past.

This place is just perfect for a stay in Clearwater Beach. We spend three nights here. Our room was small, but very clean and more than enough for two persons. The entire hotel is very well kept. Dave and Stacey are incredibly friendly hosts and provided us with good recommendations concerning restaurants and places to see.
There's a parking lot right at the hotel. We barely heard the traffic on the street in our room. It's about a five minute walk to the beach.

Eoin (Owen) the Irish lad who is just the nicest person you'll ever meet, he gave us directions and info to what the locals recommend, where to avoid with kids etc he gave this to us 5 mins before they closed. Then we woke up to Dave, after we had the $5 breakfast Eoin recommended Dave checked us in, we have two kids, my youngest (4) said "Daddy have you met this man before " Need I say more? Dave was awesome, our two girls said Eoin was super nice and Dave was super fun! Look, they treat you like family, there is free parking, pool, amenities, and is centrally located to everything. Dave or Eoin will tell you what to do, what not to do, based on what is appropriate for you (I.e with kids, without etc). We were in #4 overlooking the Bay, incredible, seriously, full kitchen etc. Beautifully decorated throughout, sea shells etc. Stay here. Period.

Cozy place to stay. It was easy to find and park. Room and pool were clean and well maintained. Friendly staff, and a coffee pot in the room! Unfortunately this trip was just overnight for a business meeting, but will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

I was a little anxious about staying here, but it got great reviews and a great price. We loved it! Super friendly staff and clean, bright rooms. They had beach equipment you could borrow, but we walked to beach and rented chairs and an umbrella. Walking distance to everything. I was concerned that there might be a musty smell given the age and being on the water, but it smelled great. Highly recommend this old school gem!

It got late so we stopped to rest. We got into a suite which was surprising due to it being late. Our room was VERY clean! The front desk attendant was very nice! The breakfast was great! I would recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay

My wife and children had previously stayed at Barefoot Bay and were impressed with the location and how nice the staff was. They also like the retro appearance of the property. I found the accommodations comfortable, affordable, very convenient to the beach, and the staff was extremely kind and helpful in recommending restaurants and attractions nearby

We visited Barefoot Bay yesterday on a research mission (our hotel is closing this summer & we will need somewhere to stay for our winter vacation next year). I called & made an appointment with Alison who was very kind. We walk past Barefoot Bay all the time, and it's cute - but I had no idea how clean & bright & perfect the rooms would be. Thank you Alison for an enlightening tour. So far this is #1 on our list for 2018!

We loved this resort. It was very quaint and the staff was so friendly. The location was great. It was right off the causeway coming into Clearwater. We even rented jet skis right off the dock next to the hotel. The rooms had everything that we needed. We had a great stay here and would definitely come back.

Perfect location for Clearwater Beach. Staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. We rented a jet ski for a two hour tour right off the dock for only $210. Room was clean and brightly colored. A 24 hour Walgreens is next door for groceries and beach supplies. Restaurants, peir 60, mini golf, the beach are all within a 5-10 minute walk. Also parking is free which is nice because parking gets very busy.
