Attention Pet Owners!
This is not the hotel for you! They accept pets,(for a fee of course), but you can not leave them in room unattended! What good is that? Too hot to have them out too long,and most places,and beaches do not accept pets! I was planning to come here with my sweet little chihuaha,but sitting in the room with him is not my idea of a vacationresponse / report this review -

I found the staff to be absolutely welcoming and wonderful. The room was clean. The internet was a little slow and the microwave should be replaced. I would definitely recommend this hotel for others to stay in.

Staff was very helpful with recommending restaurants in the area. Food service staff was good with keeping up with large number of people having breakfast. We would have loved to stay an extra day :-)

My family and I usually stay at this hotel many times throughout the year. I have never had any issues with the hotel until last weekend. I accidently left clothing in the closet of our room. When I called the hotel to inquire about the clothing that afternoon, I was asked to call back the next day because the guy at the front desk was not aware of anything being left in the room. He went to the room and checked but the clothing was not in the closet. Obviously, it was removed by their cleaning service. When I called the next morning, Heather, the front desk clerk said items were found in the room. When I asked her to list the items, I discovered that 2 of my son’s outfits were missing. Heather claimed that the items she listed were the only items left in the room. However, that is not possible because the 2 outfits were hanging in the closet with the other items. For the past 3 days, I have not been able to speak to a manager. Heather said the GM is in the hospital. She was not considerate or helpful. At one point, she said maybe the clothing is being washed with the laundry. Yet when I called back to inquire if the clothing was found after laundry was completed, she automatically transferred me to the GM voice message. After spending many weekends, especially during the summer, at this hotel, I am very unhappy with the service I received.

Called a week in advance to see about staying here with our 20' boat, truck and trailer. We were told that there was PLENTY of room. We were leary because of the location, safety of our boat and parking space available, but again, reassured over the phone that we'd be fine.
We arrived after a 5 hour drive to find that there is NOT enough room for the boat and there is NO turn around with anything that is hitched. Common sense would tell ANYONE that you would need to turn your vehicle around at some point if it's being trailered. If you Google map this place, you'd SEE that there's is a fence all around the property and a pool in the way. I've never been at ANY hotel where you can't pull all the way around it, but clearly we have now.
We cancelled our reservation at the front desk (because obviously, you CANNOT keep a trailered vehicle there), just to be told that they will be charging our credit card for the cancellation. Not just that, but now suddenly we would be charged at a higher weekend rate - it's Thursday. Then as we're trying to cancel at the desk, a lady was nearby on a phone making a drug deal. The other person standing in line heard it too and asked if we had just heard the same thing. YES, we did!
The manager, Chuck, refused to give us our money back. He said we could park across the street on a privately owned lot where there was construction. We were just out there because we couldn't pull into the hotel and a dump truck driver asked us to move. Horrible, rude, customer service, shady clientele and no parking for trailered vehicles - beware.response / report this review -

A bit worn around the edges, breakfast was okay. Near the bay, but didn't see any beach access within walking distance. Was a good quiet place for us to stay the night. Felt safe in the area. Staff was more than willing to do what they could to make our stay pleasant. The deposit requests on a prepaid room through Expedia was a bit much though.
