What a JOKE of a place! The communication between the office staff and cleaning staff is non-existent! From the first day of arrival I could tell that the professionalism was not there. I was given the wrong room key when we arrived early to set up a "home away from home" Christmas celebration for our family. When they arrived, the office gave them 2 totally different rooms, hence they walked into NOTHING!
The made us go and retrieve everything out of the original room.THEY made the mistake. You can't get into the rooms without keys! On the day of check out, we had a "preferred " check out for 2pm, so we could retrieve personal items that could not be taken back on the airplane. When we arrived BOTH rooms were cleaned out! Christmas tree, kids Christmas presents, food and personal items were all gone. The cleaning crew were told that everyone had checked out and all of our things were down in the laundry room.
NO COMMUNICATION! 2nd time in 10 days with this place!
When I spoke with the office about what had been going on, there response was "SORRY but YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for the room change and YOU are RESPONSIBLE for the early removal of your personal item's!
The last thing the manager said to me was HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS!
How OFFINSIVE! How dare he use that phrase to DISMISS someone!
NEVER AGAIN!

Great place to stay. If you don’t mind $250.00/ night you get big room king bed. Bathroom upstairs with hot tub and shower. Downstairs, full kitchen kitchen table. Living room with pull out couch and flt screen TV. The room overlooks the canal and nice terrace. Good restaurant with good food and bar. Workout room. Miniature Gulf. Game room for kids. Water park next door. I stay there every year.

Location is greatest point and close to the beach. Lots of tasteful restaurants nearby. Not too many tourists in May that make you feel comfort and peaceful. Staffs are nice and willing to help when I found the air conditioner is out of service. Room is large enough and clean.

Cute beachy resort in a quiet town. Rooms are a little dated but it's still plenty functional with a good location and easy beach access. On-site mini golf makes it feel more like a resort than a hotel.

Poor customer service from Alex the manager, but the front desk staff were more than helpful! I had a voucher for 3 free nights and they still charged me for my stay. They were trying to be paid twice for my stay and Alex took weeks to rectify the situation!! Great location, but the hotel leaks when it rains.

Hotel needs updating. Our room had roaches. They moved us to another room that had stained rugs. The room smells like urine. Bathroom has a light out. Shower head just sprinkles out the water. The electric outlet in the living room will not keep anything in it. The plug just keeps falling out. The entrance door to the room needs better weatherstrip. You can see daylight through it on the bottom & on the side which will let bugs come in. They took the pool away for the hotel guests & gave it to the water park next door. If you want to use the pool you have to pay $18 a person. On top of all this the hotel is overpriced.

We stayed 4 nights here in the middle of the week and really enjoyed our stay. I honestly thought we were the only guests but towards the end of the week we saw a few more people. We liked that it was nice and quiet. The rooms were very clean and incredibly spacious! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We rented an umbrella from the guy across the lobby which was perfect to take to the beach each day. You are a straight shot to the beach-- so convenient!!

Great looking little place. Live music at night. There is a water park next door that the kids might enjoy. It's not a large park, mainly a couple of slides, but fun. The good isn't the greatest here, but the drinks are good. The live music made the ambience fun, which likely made everything taste a bit better.

Staff if Good and friendly place is rundown and needs allot of renovations in the exterior and interior of rooms being an ihg rewards Member I stay at different level of hotels all over the world so I know what to look for. The wood deck on the upper levels facing the marina boards are week and old accident waiting to happen rusty nail in your foot or fall through all need to be replaced this is not storm damage it’s old rotted wood. I had multiple bookings and they did not work with me on my room rate no repeat customer courtesy at all. This is a separate review from my upcoming ihg review which I will not post till leaving hotel for obvious reasons. Staff is great they just work there. No complimentary bottled water in the room no room safe, They ran out and had no bottled water in the lobby when I asked. How are you a major beach hotel on a weekend and run out of bottled water this all goes back to the ownership or manager competence.

Clean and safe rooms. Free parking. We came in late to get room and the night desk man was not very friendly to us. Could use a sign to point out where the lobby entrance is bc it all looks like the resort. Would stay again.

I met friends that were staying there from out of town. The location is great. Plenty of parking. Many local places to eat amd drink. Very clean. Friendly staff.

The front desk gentlemen, Charles was fantastic. All staff was great, especially Arron the bartender who severed us all weekend. We live in St Pete and just wanted to go somewhere and relax, this was exactly what we needed. Thanks for the stay, we definitely will be back!!!!!!

The worse customer service ever experienced at a hotel. No managerial presence and undertrained front desk staff. Rude staff, and no responsible people in charge. I was treated horribly. Rooms not well maintained. Piece of advise to those daring enough to book a stay, check your itemized bill. When you realize the "mistakes" no recourse. Avoid at all costs.

It's such a unique place to stay. Supposedly it used to be a covered outdoor mall that was converted into a hotel. Regardless, this is our place to stay when we are in town and have to get a hotel. For one, it's right on the intercoastal so it has nice views and if you happen to have a window facing there, it's nice to walk up and watch the passing boats while having your cup of coffee on the patio chair.
There's food and entertainment with live music, bike rentals, mini golf, swimming pool, water park, boat rentals, outdoor bar and grill. What's not to love. Plenty of room and things to do for a family of 4.
