Bought a truck from here and got a good deal. Sadly dealerships don't seem to put out cars like they use toI noticed when I test drove the truck that it was the dirtiest truck I'd ever ridden inwhich is no big deal it's a truck..but I figured it would get cleaned up a little bit before I picked it upI guess I'm just old school and when you use to buy a car/truck it got cleaned and detailed. Also within the first month I had to buy a new battery and replace one of the interior lights that was blown when I bought itonce again, not big things. Would have expected the battery to be okay though since they told me everything was inspected and came back alright. That's the reason for my 3 star reviewno regrets buying the truck..just wish the small things were done! (Also there was chewed up gum in the center storage arm restewww! )

Leased a Ford F-150 Pickup truck here almost two years ago. Sales and Finance staff were above average from my many years experience Buying, Trading and Leasing motor vehicles. Service Department had a few minor issues, but they seem sincere in working to resolve problems I experienced. I would recommend Coughlin Ford in Johnstown, Ohio with out reservation

Find another Ford dealer.
Got in touch with a salesman on a vehicle I was interested in and was told I’d receive a call back with a price.
As days passed I left several msgs with the salesman and manager and had no returned calls.
Finally after I had called the front desk I had asked another sales person at random. I learned the vehicle had been wholesaled.
Rather than just returning my call and telling me up front they just waisted my time.response / report this review -

These guys were excellent. I inquired about a car that I seen on the website, Shawn sent me a message within a day. We communicated about the new car and my trade. I drove up a few days later. To my surprise I was offered the same fair deal we spoke about earlier in the week. Although Shawn told me about extras he never tried to oversell and convince me I needed it. He allowed me to make my own choice. He was able to answer every question and inquiry I had about the car and the process. Later I was moved to Jay the finance manager. Like Shawn, Jay mentioned different services but never pushed on it if I declined. When Jay seen maybe I was confused on uneasy at a certain part he allowed us to slow it down and make sure that I was comfortable moving on. Unlike other finance managers I've come across he never fast talked any of the steps nor did he intentionally try to confuse me. When I actually paused to read the papers that were to be signed he didn't become upset and impatient. Overall I highly recommend these guys and hope if you're on the fence you check these guys out. Never thought I could have had an easier and awesome car buying experience! Thank you guys at Coughlin Ford for the awesome customer service and staying late on a Friday night to get me taken care of!!

After having a bad experience at Ricart I stopped by Coughlin in hopes of a better experience. I was not disappoined! Every aspect of the purchase was a pleasure. No pressure, tag team sales tactics, or smoke and mirrors. Just honest, decent people doing their best to please the customer. I was given a great deal and was able to purchase a nicer truck as a result.

Their service department is awesome! We took our Transit to Mt Vernon's Ford which was an ordeal to get it there as it is our large family's only vehicle. We dropped it overnight and they had it all day only to be told at 4pm the next day that the amount of recall work that needed done would take multiple days and they had done no work yet. There were no apologies, only got told it was not their fault. My husband has had Coughlin do work on his work trucks and found them to be great so I made an appointment for my transit. Not only did they get the "long" list done in one morning but they called me at least two times to keep me informed of progress and estimated pick up time. Mt Vernon never called me and I had to call them only to be told, "we have your van." Golly glad that was confirmed!! If you want super nice and respectful guys (I appreciate that being a woman) and have top notch work done then go to Coughlin in Johnstown and don't ever darken the door in Mt Vernon's Ford.

Great experience with Coughlin Ford. Worked with Jeff Cavendish and he was helpful with a laid back approach willing to have us see under the truck on the lift and offering to drive the vehicle over 100 miles to our house to close the deal.

AWESOME!!! We visited 2 other dealerships before going Coughlin Ford in Johnstown! We were jumping through hoops working with the typical cheesy used car saleman wanting to charge us a high interest rate, not at Coughlin!! We were in and out with our new to us used vehicle in 45 minutes with a low interest rate and even agreed to fix a few minor repairs! When we took the vehicle in for maintenance, they were done quickly and even gave me a loaner vehicle that was comparable to my vehicle! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
