Played 10/19/17. Have played the course for probably 10+ years and the course conditions were abysmal. Every bunker was like concrete. The fairways were like a first cut of rough. And the tee boxes were the worst I've ever seen; not level, overgrown and full of divots. And that's on the par 4's and 5's. The greens are always excellent, though, and very fast. The range balls had not been cleaned and we're covered with caked on mud. It's a shame because the layout and views are excellent. This course needs some serious work. I work at Blacklick Woods g.c. and you won't find any of the aforementioned problems there.
Very nice golf course. I would most certainly play again when in the area. Very well maintained and would recommend playing the course to all.
A good public course with plenty of challenges. Every time I've played there the greens have been excellent.
The 3 owners are great people. They are very well known in our community and had contributed to our community for years. The golf course is one of the many things they have done. Thank you for what y'all do.
Beautiful course, hilly setting. I'm glad to see they've been busy upgrading their facilities in the off-season, including the clubhouse and re-paving some of the cart paths. It's a great value, I recommend it.
It really good link style golf course reminds me of britsh open. Also 199 for membership for year. If u mind playing there all year along.
links at Echo springs is an awesome place with friendly staff good condition looking forward to a lot of golf this year at the Links at Echo springs!
Apologies in advance for the rant but this was BS. Course is very poorly managed and unprofessional..
We just finished our last round at Echo Springs. Thanks to the lack of a ranger we were stuck behind a foursome that were more interested in boozing than golf. We were drinking too so I could care less if they are drunk on the course, until it affected their pace of play.
The group in front of the drunks were 3-4 holes ahead and we waited 10-20 minutes to hit every shot, honestly not exaggerating here. By 18 we were beyond frustrated so we throw are arms up as they continued to have no golf etiquette what so ever, continued to take mulligan after mulligan as they could barely stand.
So we hit our approach shots onto 18 and the drunkards run onto the green and throw our balls into the water. They start screaming nonsense at us and we couldn't even finish the hole.
The management at the course did NOTHING. No apology, no consequences for the group ruining our round, nada, so thanks for that Echo..
I hope that those who read this choose to play elsewhere, we know we will
Good layout and condition. A little pricey.
This course is very well maintained and very fair to play. The grounds crew does a great
job in keeping the course well manicured year round, their rates are very reasonable
and the course itself is in a very beautiful setting in rolling hills farm land just outside
Granville Ohio .Their whole staff was also very polite and friendly it was just great experience.
