No new products offered, was really disappointed, we were the only people in the entire building other than maybe 3 employees. Not the shining star it was a few years ago when it would take hours to go through the homestead main store. Very disappointing after driving 4.5 hours for nothing. Please update the web page to give an accurate description of what is now the reality.

Thank God it is for sale on the 25th. I went for an advertised model train show and nothing was there. A Smart car can be lost in the major pot holes when you pull into the lot

It was okay if I was not near the place I probably would not of stopped. Definitely was not what it was bragged up to be. When you hear the name Longanberger you think nice it was kind of a disappointment from the ruts in the parking lots to where you enter then you go to another building to shop. Staff was pleasant and was helpful.

I visited the homestead August 31, 2017. While the place isn't the same as the bustling 20 years ago, it's so worth a visit. The wares are still gorgeous and hand crafted in this age of throw away junk. I made a basket with Michelle and it was a fantastic experience. Go with an open mind to change and you won't be disappointed. I do suggest you eat first, there is limited choices for food in the area.

I really enjoyed it here but sadly felt the faded glory of Longaberger. The mini "amusement park" is excellent for photo, especially the huge apple basket. Gift shop is pricey but some discounted item is amazing (look for the discounted basket liner). Good choice for wedding if your family & friends are close by or don't mind a bit driving.

While this place may not be "what it used to be", it is definitely worth a visit and worth our support. What an excellent showcase of the work of American craftsmen (and women)! The staff were so friendly, Lisa at the Make-a-Basket was so helpful and knowledgeable, and the pizza at J. R.'s Terrace was delicious - homemade crust and sauce. We will definitely be back, but in the meantime, will treasure this memory and the beautiful baskets we'll take with us.

My wife and I have been there twice together and she had gone several other times with my mother. In years past, when business was booming, it was really interesting and lively. The last time there, we took our kids and I think there were literally less than 50 other people there The place was a ghost town, which is a shame given how vital their business is/was to the community. I believe hope people continue to support the local craftsmen and craftswomen who made this business what it was.

I think this a fun place to go i loved that they had a an area to craft you own basket. Kids would love this. And the big baskets are very cool.

They have a museum and a big store with baskets and also handmade crafts to help the local community. They also offer store tours and great discounts. The iconic basket building from Newark was replaced for one a little bit shorter but its still nice to go there as a touristic attraction.
