Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 days in this quaint quiet motel. With the best beach ever-"Caribbean" type waters where we could see our feet in waist deep waters! Super clean, convenient, across from beach (beach, road, motel). Motel provides beach chairs, towels, umbrellas free to all guest and there are plenty for all guests. No need to arrive early to get one. They also have other rentals (jet skis, pattleboards, etc.) Very nice pool and provides continental breakfast. We loved our stay! Thought it was worth every penny we paid!

The Silver Gulf Beach Resort was a great stay. Just the right size for a soccer outing at IMG Academy. Nice clean King size bed with cookies upon arriving. Fridge and microwave came in clutch for bottled water and warming up my 3 year olds milk. Overall great experience - will look to see about repeating the stay in the future.

Cannot say enough great things about our stay at the Silver Surf (Dec. 1st). From even before we arrived they were always polite and helpful over the phone. Never visiting the area I did not know what to expect and we usually stay at your typical Hilton like hotels so I was a bit unsure. Def used the reviews as guidance and wanted to make sure I wrote one as well because this place deserves praise. We were on a weekend getaway from our 5 kiddos and it couldn’t have been better. Julie in the lobby was wonderful and super helpful. The private beach access was so nice right across the street. They even made our room romantic for our arrival as I requested. The rooms are spacious,clean and comfortable. We will def return for a longer stay. We really enjoyed the relaxed casual vibe from the area and would like to of it. We ate at the Beachhouse Restaurant with our feet in the sand, Anita was a wonderful waitress, the place was great. We had a beach massage from Sea-renity spa and it was nice however we would prob not do it again. There was a lot of distractions being so close to beach access bridge and the road. Very convenient that you can contact them for services as well as water sports rentals right from the hotel website. Would prob go to the spa itself in the future. When looking for a place to stay you should not hesitate booking at the Silver Surf, you will not be disappointed.

Silver Surf has many rental options in their private beach that separate them from the nearby resorts/hotels (jetski, other water sports) along with massages on the beach. We really enjoyed our stay, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a little small, but was ok for just my husband and I. The beach is right across a 2 lane street , there are many great restaurants within walking distance, and bridge street is around a 15 minute walk and has put put, shopping, and bars. The free trolley runs the length of the island all day so there's really no need to rent a car. I would definitely come back in the future.

Just stayed for one night. This Resort is very clean and has a nice pool, beach access, and very nice grill area. Plenty of parking and elevators. The management is 5 stars and provide a continental breakfast with great nightly room rates.

Great place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large and very clean. When we turned in for the night you would never have known that there was other people around. Large pool and the beach was beautiful!!!❤

Absolutely amazing. I am a Florida native, and Tampa resident, and we "escape" to Anna Maria any second we get. Needless to say, we have stayed at a few different places in our early Anna Maria island days.until we found Silver Surf.
We refuse to stay anywhere else on the island now. The place is 110% incredible.
I wish I could praise a certain staff member by name, but they are ALL amazing. krista, Jackie, all of them; my god. Paradise with AMAZING customer service.
If you're thinking about staying here, skip all the other reviews and just book it. They are THE best.response / report this review -

We are still staying here as I write this. Everything has been great so far. We love the private beach and the staff has been really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was an ok continental and a bit crowded. Pool is nice and refreshing. In a king room with the couch pulled out it was a little tight to get the bathroom. Great hotel!

Rooms were nice. Staff was awesome. The only issue I noticed is that there were what looked to be roach/insect droppings on our bed. The maids that clean the rooms are really nice, friendly and helpful. The pool area was nice, as well. The private beach was nice but had to walk across the road to get to the beach and then were treated kind of rude by the jetbski rental people that are out there overlooking the guest and supposedly accommodating them. They treated us as if we didn't belong there. I will definitely consider going back but plan on exploring other options, as well.

The location beach and staff were great but not happy with rooms. Had connecting rooms but doors banged into each other and rooms smelled musty( they did send a can of spray and housekeeper which was super ) . No water pressure in bathroom or kitchen sink and sofas dirty as were bed skirts. Beds very clean though. Why go half way? I sent them my review but did not get a response. If u have a stroller, make sure u are in room with elevators. We paid a lot of money and could have used groupon but wanted to get best available connecting rooms. Pool suppose to close at dusk but there was a family reunion in there till 10pm but that's the curfew so I was told the next morning. Not good if u have a 1 and 3 year old with you.

Found this neat place thanks to Groupon. We were very satisfied with the many accommodations here, and the beach is right across the street! They have lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach for their guests to use The rooms are clean and have a partial kitchen along with grills on property for guests to use as well The staff was more than accommodating. Enjoyed our stay and hope to go back soon.

Nice little motel directly across from the beach. They have their own little private beach with chairs & umbrellas (no extra cost!) The spacious room was immaculate, came with a microwave and refrigerator and small kitchen sink and a pull out sofa, plenty of drawer space and the TV was HUGE - probably a 50". The room we booked was a king size bed. The mattress was comfy, staff were friendly and accommodating. Great rates - we'll be back for sure.
