we did stay for 3 days total, the TV never worked right. We got it fixed 3 times, it did work for 10 minutes and then the voices were up to 10 seconds delayed in time to the video.. so no change to even enjoy watching.
During check, as we claimed we were not that satisfied because of that, we just got a 'oh i am sorry to hear that'
The bathroom was not so clean either. There was plenty of water and old toothpaste stains around the faucet and in the sink.
The coffee maker in the lobby did not work.
We did stay there 2 years prior and were very satisfied. But due to our experience at this say now.. we might look for an alternative next time.response / report this review -

The room that we received was one of the smallest I've seen, the bed was very firm, small and uncomfortable. There was no refrigerator in the bedroom. However, the location is super convenient since it is close to everything, but there are many other hotels nearby. Staff was also friendly. Probably would request a bigger room next time or go to another hotel. Also, you receive complimentary water bottle and water station on the floor.

Excellent location, be sure to get a queen size bed if you booked a club room. We received a full size bed and it was terrible. After ask several times they changed us to a bugger room

This hotel is perfectly located in downtown Chicago within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions. It was easy to find. The staff was very accommodating. The first night there was a slight buzzing noise in our room that we determined was the mini fridge. Since we didn't need the fridge they sent maintenance up to unplug it for us. We did not at first have enough wash cloths for two people in the room, but they brought us up some upon request. There was coffee in our room, but each morning we took advantage of the lounge's coffee, tea, fruit and granola bars. In the afternoon there was soda, candy and various trail mixes available. The bed in our room wasn't the most comfortable but was fine for two nights. We also really appreciated the complimentary bottled water stations on each floor. Overall, especially considering the price, we were extremely happy with out stay here and would definitely return.

Friendly staff, longer wait to check in than usual. Nice amenities on 2nd floor. Small room s , but appreciated the bottle water service on my floor

Excellent hotel downtown on the river. It's conveniently located in downtown Chicago with great rooms and a great staff. There is a restaurant in the hotel and everything is nearby. You also have a view of the river in some rooms. Definitely recommend for anyone in Chicago.

Not impressrd. Hot. Temp 94 outside, 80 inside and changing the AC did nothing. Bed sagged, charged extra for my wife ($20/day!). Said to have area with snacksbut they were always out of stock. 2 elevators for 31 floors. So what I thought I would save in time by staying here ended up costing me more for a smaller, hotter room, with 20 minute waits for the elevator. Checked out early to stay at the hotel next door.

Great location, friendly staff, and clean, well appointed rooms. Several nice touches, like snacks and beverages in the club room in the evenings. Rooms are smaller, but the price reflects that. Tour buses and River Walk right across the street, and architecture boat dock is just up the block. Only downside is having to look at the giant sign that says "TRUMP" every time you walk out the front door.

Spent a week in this hotel and was very happy with the room. Free filter water and bottles available in the foyers was a welcome treat. The laundry worked well. Room service was good. One day my room was not serviced, but reception sorted it out within minutes of my reporting it. Breakfast at the downstairs restaurant was adequate.

Great location within walking distance of the Chicago River, Miracle Mile, Grant Park, the Art Institute, and the lake. Lots of great restaurants and shopping is close too. Room is basic but clean and nice. I got it on a Priceline bid and thought it was a good deal. One of the upper floor elevators was down when we were there so we did use the stairs quite a bit They were faster than waiting for the one elevator that was working. Staff very friendly.

Standard rooms are a little smaller than typical hotels, but still comfortable. Each floor has a filtered water station with empty plastic water bottles. The fitness center is smaller than most, but reasonable with 3 treadmills, a couple steppers, dumbbells, and a bike. The best aspects of this hotel are the historic significance of a Chicago landmark building and the stunning view down the Chicago River. If you stay here and don't have a river facing view, simply enter a stairwell on a high floor ~25 or above for a fantastic​ perspective.

I have stayed here a couple of times and have been pleased with my stay each time. Rooms are small but comfortably furnished. On recent stay the second elevator was down, causing some delays. Staff is very helpful. Location is very good, but parking can be difficult to find. I would stay here again.

Not great, not terrible. Seamless check-in experience done via kiosk was nice (same with check out). Room was big, albeit dated to the late 1980's. Bed was OK, but served the purpose because I was exhausted. Location is solid. All in all, this hotel was decent but I'd you expect even moderate luxury, it's not the place for you
