Ordered some orange chicken and bbq plate and it was VERY good! Some of the best food I've ever had! I would definitely recommend this anyone wanting some Chinese food!

This is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in San Diego. The food is very authentic and the taste is second to none. There is a very good reason why this restaurant has been around 20+ years. If you know the turn over rate for restruants in the Convoy/Kearny Mesa area you know how impressive that is. Hands down the best Japanese restruant in town!

This place is affordable and the food is decent. They have never disappointed me except for their yakisoba. That was not that great. The other dishes like the curry and udon are delicious.

A great little place. This restaurant has been around for ever and since the 1st time I went there almost 2 decades ago, it has remained consistently delicious and at a great price!
I highly recommend the mabo tofu ramen. The ton katsu don is also delectable.
It is often packed, especially in evenings and weekends, but still worth the waitresponse / report this review -

Still my favorite Japanese restaurant in San Diego. Been eating here for 15 + years and have never had a bad meal here. Great food, great service and easy location to get to. If you've never been, I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

My go to place when I'm in San Diego. Get the Tonkatsu ramen and age(ahgay) tofu. Very family oriented ramen place and great service.

Good and simple food with a no-frills environment. They greet you upon entry and you are seated with out a wait. Food comes out quickly and there is rarely a wait. Very cut and dry service: you are in and out. It's great for the fast business person, not so good for the loungey date type. Delicious ramen. Sushi is not the favourable dish here. Restrooms are singular and clean.

There is almost no other place that offers authentic Japanese cuisine that tastes great at the moderately low cost they charge.
