Another warm and comfortable mountain village gem. I had the breakfast sandwich and I swear they slathered magic on it. It was the breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Was there on a very festive Christmas Eve!

The Banner Elk Cafe & Lodge will always be one of my favorite local businesses in the Banner Elk area. Great environment, reasonable prices, wonderful service! Couldn't ask for much more. Check out the hot chocolate and outstanding desserts!

We stopped after Christmas tree shopping, and they were quite busy. The waitress let us know there might be a wait in the food, but it came surprisingly quick. The food was good and prices were reasonable.

Got there at 10:30 a.m. My breakfast was served on a small dish the egg was good the hash browns were tater tots the sausage was burnt to a crisp and the waitress was nice and friendly. But we were able to enjoy a nice friendly conversation and it was a beautiful morning. We all left promptly after breakfast which was about 1 o clock.

Stopped in for a late breakfast during the Woolly Worm Festival. The place was packed but only had to wait 15 mins. Had great omelette, good coffee, good service. One of my favorite places in Banner Elk.

Wonderful food and friendly atmosphere. They have two FULL Menus, it can be a bit overwhelming but anything you choose will be delicious. Their hummus is to die for! Save room for dessert as well!

Double menu equals many excellent choices. The service was friendly and accurate. The food was very good. Pecan pie was a different take on a classic but still very good.

This place was awesome! Our family came for Sunday lunch and turned out to be beautiful. It had a short wait(it was a Sunday afternoon) but was totally worth it. The food was delicious, the scenery was great, and it wasn't too expensive. Our waiter was very nice and I enjoyed the experience!

Ate the best sirloin I've ever had! Enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff are wonderful. Prices could be a little lower on some items on order to be where other places are but it's well worth it! Can't wait to go back!!

Long wait to get in and then when we finally got seated we were told that if you ordered from the regular menu there was a minimum wait of 30 minutes- to order from the "burrito" menu instead.
Empty tables and lots of wait staff with nothing in their hands.
Definitely a problem in the kitchen.
I know it's mountain time but..

Went there yesterday for late lunch. Very friendly service. Food was delicious! We had onion rings and Nachos for appetizers. I had bacon cheese burger and my husband ordered a meat pizza . All of the food was so good. Wish we had found this place when we had first got to town! Very large menu selection too!

Food and service is usually really good. Wait staff turns over often but I think they give students opportunities. Food is usually good but on the down hill swing of late. Have been a great supporter (I seriously have been there for all 3 meals in one day) but had couple not good meals so I am holding off for a few months. Hope it improves.
