My family stayed here in July 2017 for a few days. The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean. The location is very large and and offers plenty to do in one location. The indoor pool was very large and very close to the rooms. Towels were provided to dry off near the pool instead of having to go back to the room. Dinner in the train car was a very nice experience for my children. It's not a bad cost of you've never been there. No breakfast was offered but your close enough to travel to multiple restaurants in the area. Rooms were very clean and beds were super soft. Would definitely stay here again.

My son and I went ice skating there. It is a seasonal event they do around Christmas time for a couple of months. The ice skating was reasonably priced, $10 for adults $8 for kids. It's been awhile since I've been down this way and I had to pay $4 for parking. That is something they have changed over the years where it used to be free. it was a good, fun value for the time we spent there which was a couple of hours.

The Choo Choo is beautiful and it's in a great location on Market St. in the South Side part of town. There are a variety of art galleries and shops, coffee shops, great restaurants, music venues, and a guitar museum. I went this last time for ice skating. There are multiple event and concert halls on the complex as well. It's a beautiful building and complex.

We had a wonderful stay for my wife's birthday. Room was clean, restaurants and stores on-site will keep you busy. Walked everywhere, we will definitely be back soon. In the heart of downtown Chattanooga, everything you need is close by. Awesome place to stay!

I have always had a special place in my heart for Chattanooga and the Choo Choo since the mid 70's. This is a great place to visit. New changes are there and more coming. Sadly the rail trolley no longer runs. What a treat it was to talk with the trolley operators over the years and hear their stories. Clarence, thank you for that last ride. You sir, were special to my whole family. I hope the Choo Choo can keep the atmosphere of the days of steam and rail. My thoughts and heart hold joy and special memories there always.

Definitely a cute place, but no much to see beyond the gorgeous lobby. I didn't stay in a hotel room (only perused the premises) but I don't think I ever would. The facilities don't look that nice, and it was sort of dead when I went (Sunday morning). If you're going to Chattanooga and want to pay homage to Ray Charles, I say it's worth your while.

Beautiful building, beautiful lobby, very historic. The huge train is an impressive sight you can't see at any other hotel. They do a great job with anime conventions and there are plenty of excellent places to take photos in the garden. Always a pleasure to go there. The front desk staff are also very helpful.

Having half of an old old passenger car is awesome! I had no idea these things were so long. It is very comfortable and unique. I would like to know when this car was made and some of its history. We stayed in the. H. M. Poss car. I have noticed some things that are needing attention due to age wear and tear. I hope this historical train station and rail cars continue on into the future years.

We stayed in one of the train car rooms. Fun idea. Location was great, within walking distance of some really nice restaurants and things to do. The room itself was not great. Immediately upon waking in we were assaulted with the smell, old human. Not pleasant and very strong. The room (half of a train car) was not very clean, think dust under the desk and in corners. Bathroom reasonably clean, but we honestly didn't want to walk around barefoot in the room. Felt some updates and much better cleaning was in order. Also, since there was another room behind us, and the beds must be in the same position at the end of the room, we got to enjoy our train car roommate snoring voraciously and sounding like he/she was in the room with us

We went to the Chattanooga Choo Choo for a book signing. The hotel staff was friendly, parking was easy and affordable. We were early so we stopped at the Frothy Monkey. The food and drinks were excellent. Overall, a great experience.

The staff are wonderful. The hotel space is dated. The train cars are an experience you can't find in many places in the US. Great location for catching the free shuttle instead of fighting the traffic closer to the river.

What a beautiful place to walk around and explore. My husband enjoyed the restaurants and the rose garden. They kept the original architecture so you feel you are stepping back in time. We love visiting the Choo Choo.

This is an amazing hotel! Awesome architecture. The rooms are dated, but on purpose. I never felt like my room was lacking anything. The on site restaurants are awesome. The surrounding city is awesome. Check in, you won't regret it!

This is a beautifully restored train station into a really great experience and place to stay. Just exploring around the hotel is a lot of fun! The rooms are meant to be a tad dated to show off the decor of that era. We stayed in one of the train cars! Great food and great service. The girl at the desk told us all about tons of great things to do right from here. We will definitely be coming back again. Lots of cool little secrets around to find :)
