April 24th was "Bring Your Kids to Work Day". This is the 3rd year that we have been doing this program. It is a special day where parents can bring there sons and daughters to work. The Candlewood Suites Las Vegas is a big fan of this as it gives us a chance to introduce young people to the hotel business. It also gives us a chance to show the children just how hard their Mom and Dad work to provide for the family.
In the morning, we do a meeting letting all of the kids know the safety rules and that we are a living and breathing business. We separate the kids so they can work in the different departments and then after lunch, the kids switch departments. In the afternoon, we do a big ice cream party and talk about the day. By this time, the kids are tired and ready to go home with Mom or Dad.
This year was special as our hotel was having a Quality Audit during the day of the event. What a treat it was for them.
It was a lot of fun and good time was had by all. Plus, we did pass our Quality Inspection.

This was a great place. The room is amazing. Nice large living room. Large kitchen area with a full size fridge, two burner stovetop, microwave, and a combo dining and office table. This is a suite so the bedroom is separate from the living room, and the couch turns into a twin bed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is off the strip and only an 8 minute drive to get there. It was perfect for us. And the cost was the best we could find for this type of room. This will be our go to place when visiting Vegas.

Happy staff. The suite includes a small kitchen. Comfortable. Within reasonable walking distance of the Strip - a short distance to and then walk along Flamingo Rd to its intersection with Las Vegas Boulevard with the Bellagio on one opposite corner + Casear's Palace on the opposite corner. Go either way and you are right in the action.

Stayed in a well appointed 2 bedroom suite with my granddaughters. Even in January, they enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Will definitely stay here again!. Close to the airport for an early morning flight!.

Room (and hotel, in general) smelled terrible. When leaving in the morning, there was a passed out (possibly dead) man lying on the stairs in a pile of his own vomit. Couldn't wait to leavr!!!!

We stayed here when we went to the NASCAR. Race last March. Beautiful rooms. Quiet. Decorated nicely. Reasonably priced and not too far from the track.

Seedy, smells funny, management is rude. Rooms cleaned WEEKLY! Rooms Calle "suites" are smaller than regular hotel rooms. Don't come to this hotel. BAD DEAL. I am stuck here for 2 weeks thanks to corporate inefficiency
