Everything I've had at Bittersweet has been a wonderful bit of decadence. You can't go wrong with their perfect hot chocolate, delightful cupcakes, or outstanding pastries. My favorite is their pecan roll. It's a massive beast of flakey delight. And I don't even care for pecans! The next time you need a sweet treat or a morning pick me up, shop local and support this bakery.

Just picked up a coconut cake for my mother’s birthday. I ordered online 2 days before and it was ready on time.
It was a hit!!
Everyone loved it! The cake was so smooth and moist.
One of the best coconut cakes I’ve ever had.
I plan on ordering from them again.

We order bread from here every couple of weeks, slice it up, and freeze it for daily use. It's fantastic. I love their baguettes and sourdough load. I also got a fancy cake for an occasion and it came out amazingly well. Highly recommend.

This place was fantastic. I recently ordered a Gluten Free cake from here. I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. You have to place the order 10 days in advance, but they honored my request, and made my cake within 8 days. The presentation of the cake was phenomenal. You won’t be disappointed. Everyone loved the cake, and said it was delicious. They have a lot of other tasty treats there as well. If you’re looking for a neighborhood bakery, look no further than Bittersweet. The staff was also very friendly, and extremely helpful. I will definitely return here in the near future for my baking needs.

Okay, they obviously don't need my review but the chocolate pastry I just ate is so darn good that I had to write one. Light, not too sweet. I am seriously thinking about going back again later today.

What a disappointment! I came here hoping to try some of their lovely pastries. But when I came there on September 29th early afternoon there was no one by counter to ask if I needed any help. I will not be returning, don't waste your money here.

I like this place they are pricey so i only go ever so often to treat myself. I really love the featured quiche they have that changes every week. Lots of ppl love and rant and rave about how great the cookies are however I'm not a fan, just ok nothing great. Also not the best customer service here.

The chocolate croissants are totally awesome for breakfast with just the right amount of sugar to not be too sweet but give you enough energy to get you going in the morning. I went one time and had a grilled cheese with bacon I recommend that with about five chocolate croissants to get you through a Monday.

Bittersweet made a custom birthday cake for my Mom's 60th birthday celebration. It. Was. INCREDIBLE! They brought my vision to life in the most beautiful, whimsical way. The cake not only embodied my mom's personality in every detail - but the cake, filling and icing were absolutely incredible! Delicious and so refined. Everyone loved it. Thank you, Bittersweet, for making her birthday so memorable!

Cozy place for pastry the ambience reminded me of a European Café, good place to meet for coffee, hot chocolate, paninis or even ice cream. I haven't tried their cakes but I've heard they are very tasty. The prices are decent.

Get ready for the easiest and hardest decision in your wedding planning. Choosing Bittersweet is the easy decision. Nancy, who was our host, was great to work with. Our experience started with the tasting. We had the idea of the cake we wanted in our mind when we arrived. But as we waited the samples to arrive, we came across a little book of cakes in our table. The variety of the cakes that Bittersweet created is astonishing. As we browsed, we came across the city skyline band that we incorporated into our design. When we showed the design we wanted to Nancy, she did not hesitate to confirm that they could handle it.
When Nancy came out with the samples, our hardest decision has begun. So many different flavors cooked with precision. The best part is, you keep the samples!
Although we did not see the finished cake until the wedding day, the final result was one of the most beautiful part of our wedding. Bittersweet created our wedding cake as good as we hoped and everyone at our wedding enjoyed the flavors. We can't wait to go back next year to get the complementary 1 year anniversary cake.
