My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The location is amazing. Easy and relaxing 30 minute walk (or less) from the pier. The hotel is about 45 minutes from Disneyland, and an hour from San Diego. The members of the staff are wonderful. We had great experiences with William at the front desk and Angel in the breakfast room.
We did have some ants In our room the first night, but after speaking with the front desk, William moved us to a nicer room.

What a great hotel the Best Western Casablanca Inn is! Located in such a convenient spot only a five minute walk from North Beach in absolutely beautiful San Clemente CA. The staff are exceptional in their politeness, the cleanliness and comfort of the place is top notch and the breakfast experience is outstanding because of their wonderful hostess Angel.
The cost for a place with that kind of value is very reasonable and as I said, the location so close to North Beach and the Amtrak Station with easy access to the other Orange and San Diego County beach towns is ideal. We loved it and recommend it highly to those of you family or retired folks on a budget who want to stay in a nice hotel for a reasonable price.response / report this review -

I have stayed at this Casablanca Inn Best Western three times already have enjoyed my stay each time. The rooms are clean and spacious. The free Breakfast is great .Great service from front desk personnel. The hotel is about one and a half miles from the downtown San Clemente area where the shops and restaurants are .. Great hotel

Great location and a great staff. We all stayed for a wedding and they took care of everything we needed. I know that we may have been a bit loud as well but the staff was very professional and understood that is was a special occasion. Their restaurant recommendations were fantastic as well.

We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Professional staff, nice exterior, comfortable, roomy, and clean rooms, and beach in walking distance (5-10 min). The deluxe king room had a jacuzzi tub for two which was very nice to relax in. There is a outside area enclosed with plants in center, open area of hotel with a fountain and seating to allow eating a meal or just relaxing. There were a handful of local casual restaurants to eat that were within walking distance as well as art galleries. We didn't go to the pool but it and the jacuzzi area also looked clean. We would certainly return with or without kids.

An excellent place to stay a short walk from the beach. The rooms are clean and well apportioned. Make sure to ask for a room with a spa; the bubbles are nice. Breakfast included frosted flakes, and comes with the room. The staff are friendly, professional, and a pleasure to be around.

I'm not a fan This was the first hotel that the bed made my back hurt, room was okay - nothing special, pool and hot tub are heated and nice, nothing special. I did like the greenery around.
What made this a good place at all was the customer service. Everyone was very cordial, accommodating and pleasant to be around. This is the only saving grace. Would still probably not stay there again.response / report this review -

What a very pleasant stay we had. The staff is excellent and the grounds are well kept. Angel welcomed us at breakfast and kept the breakfast room spotless and well stocked. The salt water pool is so nice and the pool area is well maintained with nice outdoor furniture. The location was good, a little too far from the ocean for us to walk, but a short drive. The room was noisy, due to being next to a busy street, and we could hear the folks upstairs. In spite of that, we would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay, Maily took really good care of us, along with the long-haired guy I feel bed for missing his name, they are the best. Short distance to the beach and a few local restaurants as well as 7-11, and the breakfast and breakfast attendant are wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.We were here for a 4/3 stay.

This hotel did not necessarily look from the outside like it was going to be that great, but it was fantastic. Pool very nice, third floor room very pleasant, wonderful spot to do my work in a courtyard fountain area. Coke machine was a reasonable one dollar! Bed was comfy, housekeeping just right. I'd bring the family here for vacation!

Driving cross country we didn't arrive until 2 am but hotel staff was prompt and courteous getting us checked in and checked out the next day at noon. Prices were reasonable. Beautiful location in a very comfortable hotel. I would definitely consider returning when I have more time to enjoy it.

Nice enough hotel. Beds are comfortable. TV gets a lot of channels. Breakfast is good, but breakfast room is very small. (Main) parking is limited, and the secondary parking lot is really dark at night. The hotel could use a little sprucing up, but is a decent choice, and reasonably close to the beaches.

Quiet, comfortable, and very very clean. The Queen spa rooms are great and the spas are immaculate. The cleaning staff clearly takes pride in their work. They also have free breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30 and offer eggs, bacon, sausage, juice, and sweets. Coffee can also be made in the room. The Queen spa rooms also have a small kitchenette with tons of cabinet space and I fell asleep on the bed rather easily with no aches upon waking. Also has TV with free satellite. Would be tempted to take a road trip just to relax here for a weekend, or whole week! Close to downtown AND the beach.
